Happy Independence Day, America! What a grateful nation we should be, especially on a day like today. Megyn Kelly had a group of 14 wounded warriors on her show to inspire us all. And to remind us why we are so grateful for the freedoms we have. It is because of men like this that we can celebrate being an American on this beautiful day.
This weekend on John Stossel’s show, he talked with Gary Sinise about all the philanthropic work he’s done with the troops, as well as the patriotic themes often seen on his hit show “CSY: NY.” Gary Sinise is one fantastic American, and I never knew just how many groups he was involved with until I saw this special with Stossel.
Honestly, when does this man sleep? Either way, I salute Gary Sinise and thank God for giving us such a special human being to look up to. If each of us could only give a 10th of what Gary Sinise gives to our fellow man, the whole world would be a brighter place.
I am so blessed to be a citizen of the greatest country on earth – the United States of America. We all owe everything we have today, especially our freedom, to those military men and women who have been either wounded or have paid the ultimate sacrifice, who are the true superheroes of the world.
Click the photo above to access the list of our fallen military veterans, and while you’re there, please say a prayer for them all. May God continue to bless us all.
Today, Chris Wallace hosted a special show with historian Patrick O’Donnell and featuring WWII hero, Sgt. Frank South of the Army Rangers. Here are just a few highlights from today’s ceremonies and coverage of the tribute at the Normandy Memorial in France. What a fantastic salute to America’s greatest generation. Chris Wallace, Mr. O’Donnell, Sgt. South, and Wendell Goler were all moved to tears at some point.
God bless this generation of heroes, and may we never forget the sacrifices they made for us.
