Future Speaker of the House, John Boehner, got up tonight to speak about the election results and what it means, not only for the country, but also to him as someone who grew up pursuing the American dream.
This is honestly a side I’ve never seen in Mr. Boehner. But honestly, I know many folks from Ohio and they are all “good people.”
God bless you, John, and God bless the U.S.A.
Oh, I can DEFINITELY see an ongoing RedEye segment featuring wild-man Phil Davison, who is famous for his over-the-top speech to the Stark Co. OH GOP as a candidate for Treasurer. Needless to say, Davison didn’t get the nomination, but boy it sure made for some must-see TV (and subsequent YouTube goodness).
Perhaps Gutfeld could call the segment “Fightin’ the Power with Phil.” Just a thought on this prospect at comedy gold for the 3AM show on FNC.
From today’s C-SPAN Open Report on issues that are affecting America, MI Congressman Thaddeus McCotter and OH Congressman Steven LaTourette detail at length the human cruelty that is left behind with this current administration’s “Auto Task Force” and their capricious and devastating decisions.
McCotter is a fairly regular guest on RedEye, and if you’ve seen any of those appearances, you know that part of his oratory on the Hill today holds a bit of sarcasm (when he remarked about Obama’s professed & promised “transparency”). Regardless, he is a great orator, albeit of a dry wit, but I believe he is a potential player in the GOP’s future. He’s one to watch for sure.
