Last week while he sat in for Glenn Beck, Judge Andrew Napolitano had many teriffic segments. These two bits are my favorite. Nobody can describe the Constitution like the Judge. These two gems are for time immemorial.
Freedom must be preserved at all costs. But we must first admit that freedoms are being stripped from us on a daily basis.
Last week, Judge Andrew Napolitano & Retired Lt. Gen. Tom McInerney went over the facts and circumstances that surround the case of the Navy SEALs who are currently being court-martialed for punching a most-wanted terrorist in the stomach while taking him into custody. This terrorist in question is the one behind the burning, dismembering and hanging-from-the-bridge of civilian contractors from the bridge in Fallujah.
I agree with both the Judge & the Lt. Gen, that these guys don’t deserve court martial; rather they should be awarded the Silver Star.
Last week as Judge Napolitano sat in for Glenn Beck, the Judge discussed the constitutionality of some parts of the healthcare reform bill that recently passed. Especially of note is the individual mandate that every American citizen, by the very nature of their existence, will now be required to purchase a good that must be approved by the federal government.
I, like the Judge, am not amused. We must all stand and fight this monstrosity.
