HAHA… this ‘toon was featured in the Patriot Update newsletter today, and I have to say I LOVE it!
This ‘toon is the work of brilliant editorialist, Mike Lester, of the Rome News-Tribune in Rome, GA. A hometown boy doing a helluva job.
Note: In looking at his latest cartoon, I found this other gem that is quite prescient. This ‘toon illustrates brilliantly a post I’m writing in my head for this weekend. Enjoy!

This was wonderful to see. Sandra Bullock, honored by our troops as their Entertainer of the Year on Spike TV, and she was so gracious with her acceptance. This is why we love Sandra… she’s a true class act. Quite a contrast to the crap that was on MTV last night.
She wowed the crowd in studio, for sure. She is so funny, and did I mention how absolutely stunningly beautiful she is, too? Too bad Hollywood at large couldn’t take a cue from this woman.

This was hilarious… was from the pre-MTV Movie Awards show “Jersey Shore.” Snookie’s boyfriend was giving her a 3rd layer of a spray tan, and Snookie said she’s sworn off “tanning-tanning” because of Obama’s 10% tax on it. She goes on to opine that McCain wouldn’t have done it because he needs a tan.
Oh, and she also thinks Obama created the tan tax “intentionally for us.” Huh? Who is “us?” The Jersey Shore cast? LOL. Talk about an inflated sense of self-importance!

Last week, the RedEye crew poked fun at the video of a Bay Area ABC reporter who was trying to interview a teacher at a school, when apparently the Communications/PR dude for the school kept advancing the reporter, doing a “pat, pat” on his left or right shoulder, whichever was closer. This was obviously space-invading, and you KNOW this guy knew it was getting the reporter’s goat.
However I must say, if this little pip-squeak kept doing this “pat, pat” to me, I’d have hauled off and socked him a good one! That was just too creepy the way he was acting…know what I mean? He deserved it, really, and I’d have been happy to oblige.
All I could think about (besides smacking the idiot around) was “DON’T TOUCH ME BRO!” LOL
Oh, and if you don’t get the Paul Provenza jab, you really missed out on a GREAT RedEye episode where the jerk almost got smacked by Ann Coulter for damn-near drooling on her while blabbing lib talking points like “NO WMDs!” Greg wasn’t hosting that night, though, or Provenza wouldn’t have even gotten CLOSE to what he did to Ann! Google it if you want to see it. It’s a HOOT!

A recent RedEye Gregalougue on the PC’ness and lack of inability to identify the real cause behind the Times Square Bomber B.S. The New York Times obviously is at a loss when it comes to “gee, what could have been Shazad’s motives?”

Vid #3: O’Reilly & Megyn Kelly Cover the Live Oak ‘Controversy’ of American Teens Wearing American Flag T-Shirts
Megyn Kelly & Bill O’Reilly recently discussed the faux controvery in Live Oak, California of idiot leftist Mexicans and liberals feigning moral outrage at students wearing American flag t-shirts on May 5th at their school.
Their crime? Why if you MUST ask, the American students DARED to wear their American flag t-shirts on “Cinco de Mayo!” Oh, stop me before I swoon. /sarc
By the way, has anybody even thought to mention or reveal that “Cinco de Mayo” isn’t even a Mexican holiday??? A pox on the house of the Mexican female student who felt “disrespected” by this display. GO. POUND. SAND. Cinco de Mayo was developed by Dos Equis or Corona to sell beer. Idiot.
Vid #4: Chris Matthews Wets Himself Over Rev. Franklin Graham Resorting to “Crude Resentment” of Muslims
Hey, Chris… go cry on your boyfriend’s shoulder.
And if you must ask who his ‘boyfriend’ might be, just ask yourself – who is it that gives Chris a “thrill” up his leg?
I, for one, am sick of the political correctness. Faisal Shazad was a radical Muslim, EVEN THOUGH, according to Chris, he was a “naturalized” American citizen.
Yeah, Chrissy, American citizens can also be “radical Muslims.”

Seth, dont’ speak about what you don’t know. Thank you, Penn Jillette, for defending the Tea Party. And for clarifying that folks who disagree with Obama are NOT by definition “racists.”

Vid #7: Brit Hume – I’d Prefer a Root Canal to White House Dinner
On a recent episode of Fox News Watch, they showed the segment from one of the White House press dinners where Obama made a joke about predator drones and the Jonas Brothers if they showed interest in his daughters.
They showed a clip of Brit Hume discussing what some described as “not funny” i.e., the joke about killer drones, and Brit said political correctness has just gone too far, and that he thought the joke was funny. He then further said he only saw it later because he wasn’t there at the dinner; he had a choice between a root canal and the dinner, and he chose the root canal.
Good choice, Brit. And good sense of humor.
Vid #8: David Asman & Breitbart Discuss Cinco de Mayo American Flag T-Shirt Controvery
From a recent “Scoreboard” episode with David Asman, Andrew Breitbart was on to give his take on the Live Oak school “controversy” and the students who wore the American Flag t-shirts getting suspended. They discuss this case along with other PC issues affecting our society today. Breitbart defines Political Correctness as Cultural Marxism, and I can’t say as I disagree with him much on that. Quite a good and appropriate parallel.
