Oh, I can DEFINITELY see an ongoing RedEye segment featuring wild-man Phil Davison, who is famous for his over-the-top speech to the Stark Co. OH GOP as a candidate for Treasurer. Needless to say, Davison didn’t get the nomination, but boy it sure made for some must-see TV (and subsequent YouTube goodness).
Perhaps Gutfeld could call the segment “Fightin’ the Power with Phil.” Just a thought on this prospect at comedy gold for the 3AM show on FNC.
On Wednesday night’s Red Eye, guests included Matt McCall, Kimberly Guilfoyle, and Joe DeVito. Point of discussion was the new “Emily’s List” ad attempting (poorly, I might add) to parody and lambast Sarah Palin’s “Mama Grizzlies” ad.
If this is all the left has to fight with, I almost feel pity for them. And “almost” is not quite correct, because I don’t really pity them. LOL @ PDS from the left.
This was just plain fun. Beck joked around recently about Pelosi’s “favorite word.”
Looks like she wasn’t expecting that follow-up question, now doesn’t it?

Oh, and on a personal note, I am anxiously awaiting another drivel piece from the Atlanta Journal Constitution about the Bush administration being responsible for all the job outsourcing. Why? Just last week I found out, after receiving an email about a subscription to that rag paper, so I had to call the Customer Care center to make sure they weren’t charging me anything and that they did not list me as a current account holder. I detected a bit of strange accent from the customer service woman. I asked her: “…just curious, but where are you located?” Her reply? “Singapore.”

This ‘toon is the work of brilliant editorialist, Mike Lester, of the Rome News-Tribune in Rome, GA. A hometown boy doing a helluva job.
Note: In looking at his latest cartoon, I found this other gem that is quite prescient. This ‘toon illustrates brilliantly a post I’m writing in my head for this weekend. Enjoy!
