HHS Contraception Mandate: Obama's Version of a 'One-Child' Policy

by MsUnderestimated — Categories: War on FreedomLeave a comment

Okay, so that may sound harsh, but how else do you describe Sec. Sebilius’ explanation of the cost-effectiveness of the manadate? She explains that because fewer babies will be born, insurance premiums will actually be either a net-neutral or net-negative. Let me get this straight then; here’s the recipe:

Kathleen Sebelius

  • The woman wants to have as much sex overnight delivery viagra as she can
  • They get “free” contraception from the government
  • The babies they would normally have had are therefore never born
  • The insurance carrier (i.e., Obamacare) is spared from pre/post-natal, ob/gyn, then pediatric care costs
  • The woman gets to go on having as much sex as she wants
  • Repeat cycle as many times as desired

From the CNS story:

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius told a House panel Thursday that a reduction in the number of human beings born in the United States will compensate employers and insurers for the cost of complying with the new HHS mandate that will require all health-care plans to cover sterilizations and all FDA-approved contraceptives, including those that cause abortions.

Examining the List of Obamacare Waivers

by MsUnderestimated — Categories: We The PeopleLeave a comment

Now, I know I’m late to the game on this, but the recent news about more waivers being granted for Obamacare caused me to dive into it again and have a second and third look. First I was wondering about the connections some of the companies had with democrats or democrat-supporting organizations or people, but then you don’t have to research to find that out for a lot of them; it’s right there in their names: this “Union,” that “Brotherhood,” this “Guild,” etc., etc., etc.

Corner of Hope & Change

I started noticing not who the waivers were granted to, but at the number of employees some of them listed. Aren’t these waivers granted so that the companies/organizations won’t bear an undue burden financially? If you have ZERO or 3 employees, why in the world would you need the waiver?

The HHS has broken the waivers down to separate lists. On the list for “Self-Insured Employers,” it describes the waivers thusly:

“Self-Insured Employers: Approved Applications for Waiver of the Annual Limits Requirements. This is a list of self-insured employers that have received waivers of the annual dollar limit requirements for group health plans offered to their employees.”
