Huckabee Gives Behar a Lesson on Taxes & Why Saying “No” Is Sometimes a Good Thing (VIDEO)

Today on The View, Mike Huckabee was on, and during the chat, Joy Behar harangued him about his party being the party of “no,” wondering if saying “no” was only going to cause gridlock “to the max” in Congress (hey, Joy… sometimes we are spared from more harm when Congress is doing less). Anyway, the Gov. then proceeded to inform her why “no” was something that the voters actually asked for this past election, specifically noting Obamacare.

Joy apparently is one of those dolts who thinks a 26-year-old is still a child, who should be able to suck off of their parents’ (or the government’s) teat because they just can’t manage at such a young, tender age. /sarc

Then Ms. Blowhard moved on to a recent piece by billionaire Warren Buffett and others who say that they, as millionaires and above, should pay more taxes. The Gov. then proceeded with the further education of Ms. Joy by letting her know that of the 270+ thousand millionaires in the U.S., only 40 have come out publicly saying they agreed with Buffett and that crew.

It must have come as quite a shock to Ms. Joy that the Gov. would then suggest if these billionaires want the government to take more of their money, then there is no law on the books that would prohibit them from writing big checks to give freely to the government coffers, until they’ve given away all they have. But as it stands now, the Gov. believes, as do most Americans, that we can decide how best to spend our own money, and the government needs to butt out.

Charity does not come from government; it comes from the individual by choice, not by force. And the only way the government can give your money to someone else is definitely by force.

And I thought liberals were so adamantly pro-choice. Hmm…. guess I was wrong.

Chinese Professor – A Peek Into The Economic Future (VIDEO)

A brilliant yet brutal ad from Citizens Against Government Waste.

From their YouTube page:

Donate to help end wasteful deficit spending at www.cagw.org. This new ad is part of an ongoing communications program in CAGW’s decades-long fight against wasteful government spending, increased taxes, out-of-control deficit spending, and a crippling national debt that threatens the future and survival of our country.

Allahpundit has a great piece about it at Hot Air here:

Too good to be dumped into Headlines and forgotten about. So effective is it, in fact — note the Hollywood-quality production values — that it leaves me wondering why a more high-profile outfit didn’t think of it first. Surely Rove’s group or some other mega-PAC is capable of stuff this sharp. Maybe they’re afraid of the inevitable racism charge? Can’t blame ‘em if so: Members of a racial minority saying or doing something contrary to progressive interests is, after all, pretty much the textbook definition of racism.

Exit question: Would a ChiCom college seminar really focus on the perils of big government? I ask you.

Who among you can say for sure this IS NOT our future??? Think about it. It should frighten you. It did me. Please share this with your friends. Word of mouth is the best advertising there is, but this is more than just advertising; it’s a warning – a warning that should taken very seriously, by all Americans.

Nate Whigham, Black Tea Party Leader, on Cavuto in Atlanta (VIDEO)

H/T Mediaite for this clip from the Atlanta Tea Party today.

Meet Nate Whigham, a tea party protester and organizer featured on Your World with Neil Cavuto today. Whigham is a conservative with a strong faith in the Constitution who is upset with the current direction America is heading in– and he also happens to be black.

Neil Cavuto interviewed Whigham, who for many on the left is considered a mythical being, along with co-organizer Julianne Thompson. Given the abundant accusations of racism against the Tea Party movement in general and, more specifically, social conservatives, Cavuto had to ask: what are you doing here?

Whigham was a good sport, claiming that “I guess I’m a racist” and admitting that he had voted for Barack Obama before “just knowledge” hit him and he realized that he disagreed with many of the Democrats’ policies. He also claims that after shouting “what?!” at him and looking confused, many of his family members and friends listened to what he said to say and said “wait a minute- you’re right!” “It’s just a question of getting the word out to more people,” he noted.

Whigham can also be seen featured on the Tea Party Documentary DVD, which I highly recommend to anyone who is interested in this movement. Buy this documentary; it is well worth the small price, and you will finish it with tears in your eyes, a swell of pride in your heart, and a squaring of your shoulders knowing you are not alone. Nate Wigham is a true patriot.

As a final idiotic note, AARP describes Nate as an Obama-voting, tea party racist. Do they not know Nate is black? It’s amazing at what lengths the Obamabots will stoop to try and discredit the Tea Party movement. A sad state of affairs in our country.

Geraldo Shills for Obamacare – What More Should We Expect from Jerry? (VIDEO)

If I didn’t love my TV so much, I would have put it out of my misery with my Glock when Jerry Rivers, er, I mean Geraldo Rivera popped on to spout his drivel about the glorious wonders of Obamacare. Stupid fake latino.

I’m surprised MSNBC hasn’t peeled him away from FNC. Please take him…you can have him.

Steve Hayes: This Healthcare Reform Will Bankrupt the Country (VIDEO)

by MsUnderestimated — Categories: Government Spending, Healthcare, Video1 Comment

On a special edition of Special Report, the subject was today’s vote on the healthcare reform bill, a.k.a. “Obamacare.” Steve Hayes of the Weekly Standard gave a breakdown of past entitlement programs including Medicare and Social Security, what promises were made about them, and how they wound up affecting America in reality, fiscally speaking. Steve gives a somber yet believable analysis about this newest entitlement: it will bankrupt this country.

This is going to make the federal debt clock, as Steve says, go into double-time. This new entitlement is an outrage. As if we don’t have enough unfunded liabilities as it is?
