This is an incredibly moving video. Gary Sinise is an incredible patriot. It’s only fitting that he narrate this video explaining the focus and programs included in the Travis Manion Foundation.

And what better way to remind us all of what others have sacrificed so much for than to share with you the story of one such hero, 1st Lt. Travis Manion USMC. Travis was killed by a sniper in Fallujah while trying to help his fellow Marines stop an enemy ambush. The Travis Manion Foundation was created in his honor, and was initially run by his mother Janet, who recently succumbed to her battle with Stage 4 lung cancer. Travis’ sister, Ryan, however picked up the mantle and continues to run the foundation. Chris Wallace interviewed her as this week’s Fox News Sunday “Power Player of the Week.”
I urge you to visit the Foundation website and read all the stories there, watch the videos, and contribute if you can. God bless our warriors who fight and are willing to die for us unconditionally.

Last week, Judge Andrew Napolitano & Retired Lt. Gen. Tom McInerney went over the facts and circumstances that surround the case of the Navy SEALs who are currently being court-martialed for punching a most-wanted terrorist in the stomach while taking him into custody. This terrorist in question is the one behind the burning, dismembering and hanging-from-the-bridge of civilian contractors from the bridge in Fallujah.
I agree with both the Judge & the Lt. Gen, that these guys don’t deserve court martial; rather they should be awarded the Silver Star.

Wow… Glenn unleashed holy hell today over several issues, the least of which was Obama’s dithering on his Afghanistan policy decision. No one was spared his wrath, including Congress in general, but specifically Jack Murtha.
Since when have our troops been a budgetary concern, especially since they’re actively involved in a war overseas? Oh, yeah… since Obama decided to consider budgetary items ONLY as it concerns the troops and support for them.
I don’t have family in Afghanistan or Iraq, but I have many friends who are there, and they corroborate Glenn’s outrage. Obama dithers while troops die…all the while he plans yet another party for the White House, where all of Hollywood’s elite stars are invited to attend. What a sham.
To make things worse, I have to ask if you remember the civilian Blackwater contractors who were murdered, burned, mutilated and hung from a bridge in Fallujah. Do you? Well apparently some Navy SEALs found the high-value operative behind that atrocity. But what is the current administration doing? The detainee who is responsible for those atrocities told authorities he was punched in the face during questioning when they were found. Somebody call these douchebags a waaahmbulance.

Ret. USMC Gunnery Sgt., Nick Popaditch was on Red Eye last night, and he talked about his book and website, “Once a Marine.” Gunny Pop is a true hero, enlisting in the Marines in 1986. He’s got a powerful story to tell, and I was so pleased to see him on as a guest last night.
Gunny was in Desert Shield, Desert Storm, and Operation Iraqi Freedom. During the battle for Fallujah, Gunny was hit in the head by an RPG, and lost his right eye. He’s got a very cool prosthetic eye, although I’m sure he’d like to have his real eye back, but he’s got a gold Marine Corps. eagle emblem emblazoned on that prosthesis.
Good stuff! God bless ya, Gunny. I hope to see more of you on TV soon. America needs to see more of our troops, and I couldn’t think of a more cool guy to represent our military men and women than Gunny.
