Remembering Andrew in His Own Words (VIDEO)

I found this most fitting tribute from YouTube user, WeLoveSarahPalin:

Andrew would want us to fight on… in fact, he would insist on it. We must carry this battle forward, and we must stand shoulder to shoulder with the Tea Party and other patriotic American groups who are bound and determined to wrest this country from the bonds of tyranny.

God bless you, Andrew, and may God continue this country which you so dearly loved and fought for.

“We Have an Obligation to Fight Back” – Andrew Breitbart (VIDEO)

In a soaring, motivating tribute to Andrew Breitbart, who we lost too soon, we are reminded that the fight is not even CLOSE to being over. All of us collectively now must carry that torch of obligation to fight back against the Democrat Media Complex.

This video is courtesy of the Franklin Center.

Fight on, conservative warriors, for it is now up to us to get this nation back and return Her to our rightful roots as a representative Republic.

Happy Presidents’ Day (VIDEO)

From Sarah Palin via her Facebook page:

Celebrating George Washington’s birthday is an American tradition to honor our first president. Though Presidents’ Day is now the more commonly-used term, and has expanded to include all presidents, the legal term for this federal holiday remains Washington’s Birthday.

We honor President Washington, not because he was flawless; he was not. He was, however, the epitome of self-sacrifice—both as a soldier and a statesman. It was that sacrifice that helped make America what it was destined to become. We honor him because of what he accomplished and the manner in which he approached service to this nation: with a servant’s heart.

I am on record as acknowledging President Washington as my favorite Founder precisely because of that heart. He did not seek power. He accepted it reluctantly. He answered the call, offered himself up in the name of service, and helped to usher in a new day. At a time when he could have remained in office perpetually, as some expected, he chose to return to life as a citizen rather than seek a third term. He fulfilled his destiny, and his legacy is secure.

It is refreshing to reflect on one who was so far removed in spirit from the inside baseball that too often defines politics now. America celebrates President Washington for his decision to serve for the right reasons. Today, we could certainly use a little more Washington in DC and a little less BS in Washington.

R. Lee Ermey Enjoying New Peace and Quiet (VIDEO)

This is a great new video for the NRA’s Trigger the Vote campaign which started earlier this month. From the YouTube page:

To kick off the campaign, the NRA Freedom Action Foundation is rolling out its first ad, “Peace and Quiet” featuring actor and former U.S. Marine Corps Gunnery Sergeant R. Lee Ermey.

Gunny Ermey has starred in “Full Metal Jacket” as well numerous other movies, TV series and commercials through the years. Visit www.triggerthevote.org for more info.

So if any of you know anybody who loves this country, yet has not registered to vote, please do whatever it takes to make sure they do so. Our very freedoms depend on it.

Allen West’s Rousing Speech at 2012 CPAC (VIDEO)

As usual, Congressman Allen West needs no explanation or introduction; just a warning that watching this speech may cause you to jump up out of your chair and cheer out loud. Viewer discretion, epecially upstairs neighbors, be advised. The cheering you may hear may not be suitable for delicate or sensitive ears.

If you look up “barnburner” in regards to speeches in the dictioary, chances are you’ll see a picture of Allen West next to the entry.

Again, I’m late on the CPAC posts, but especally with this one, better late than never. :-)
