Tonight, the father of murdered Army Private William Long came on O’Reilly’s show to discuss the devastating death of his son, as well as the current news of the criminal trial.
Please pray for Daris Long, and may his son rest in peace.
It should be noted that O’Reilly pledged to send $50,000 to the Wounded Warriors Project in Pvt. Long’s name. God bless you, Bill.
Tonight on Greta Van Susteren, Dick Cheney and his daughter, Liz, were on to discuss a variety of subjects, from their family to the Obama Administration. They also talked about the history of the Bush Administration, as well, and the intelligence surrounding the 9/11 terrorist attacks, etc.
This is such a great and wise family, and I’d give anything if Liz Cheney would throw her hat in the 2012 ring.
And for all of those out there who are calling for Dick Cheney to “shut up,” I ask only that you do the same when his name comes up. If you have free speech then he does, too. Especially when his name continually gets drug through the mud by MSNBC on a regular basis. And secondly, I don’t hear a stronger, more clear voice out there right now who is truly speaking conservative values, so until we can get such a leader, I say keep it up, Cheneys! We love you both!

Fmr. 1st Lt. Melissa Stockwell and Sgt. Ireshekia Henry were on The View today in celebration of Memorial Day. Both ladies, in addition to being heroes, are amputees. Elizabeth tells their story and introduces America to a couple of fabulous patriots.
And to no one’s surprise, there had to be one “did she really just ask that?” moment. This time it came from the head hen, Barbara. It’s nice to see 1st Lt. stand her ground.
I was just happy to see they allowed two such heroes to grace their presence, and the whole crew should have felt humbled.
Today’s day of celebration to honor our military veterans and heroes, there were quite a few heart-warming moments in the show. Here are just a few of them. I hope you all got a chance to watch this on PBS, but in case you didn’t, here are some heart-felt highlights of the evening.
As you watch these tributes, say a little prayer for all of our men and women sacrificing their lives so that we may live in freedom.
God bless these men and women who serve this country, and more specificaly… God bless those like Gary Sinise, Trace Adkins, Joe Montegna and others who share their time with us to celebrate these honors and these troops.
God bless our military men and women, God bless those who honor their sacrifices, and may God continue to bless the United States of America.
