Funny how Barbara didn’t talk to her other guests like this – combative, almost. Hey O’Reilly…get Tonya Reiman on this segment! I noticed Barbara looked up and to the right a LOT! Wanna know what her body language said (aside from the obvious disdain).
If you’ve been paying any attention lately, SEIU is neck-deep in a kissy-face relationship with Barack Obama and his administration. And Andy Stern, their leader, has so much influence with Obama that apparently they are able to have the lion’s share of influence over the healthcare reform legislation. “Workers of the world unite!” How is this happening? How are 2 million union members able to over-ride the rest of us?
Well, this is just one of the many topics Glenn tackled today in a segment for which I had a couple of alternative titles: “Beck: We’re in Opposite World,” or “Beck Begs Americans to Wake the F*** Up!” Oh, well, I think the message will get across either way.

Rep. Schakowsky’s husband, Robert Creamer, used to be the leader of Citizen Action/Illinois. He also founded its predecessor, Illinois Public Action, in which Ms. Schakowsky served as Program Director. He runs a political consulting firm, the Strategic Consulting Group, which lists ACORN and the SEIU among its clients and which made $541,000 working for disgraced former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich.
Creamer resigned from Citizen Action/Illinois after the FBI began investigating him for bank fraud and tax evasion at Illinois Public Action. He was convicted in 2006 and sentenced to five months in federal prison in Terre Haute, Indiana, plus eleven months of house arrest.
While in prison—or “forced sabbatical,” he called it—Creamer wrote a lengthy political manual, Listen to Your Mother: Stand Up Straight! How Progressives Can Win (Seven Locks Press, 2007).
The book was endorsed by leading Democrats and their allies, including SEIU boss Andy Stern—the most frequent visitor thus far to the Obama White House—and chief Obama strategist David Axelrod, who noted that Creamer’s tome “provides a blueprint for future victories.”
Are you getting all this folks? We’re on the road to ruin, and Barack and crew are just stepping on the gas pedal. What is it going to take for Americans to wake up and stop this madness? Today on Beck, he outlined not only the private-sector record of the presidential appointments going back to 1900, he also gave us a glimpse as to why the Obama administration seems to have a blind spot when it comes to the private sector and, to a greater extent, capitalism.
Coincidence? I think not. As Beck and many others have noted, government is not the answer; it’s quite often the problem. And this new data of private-sector experience just proves the point. Obama has surrounded himself with public-sector lackeys to do his progressive bidding.
In the first segment of This Week with George Stephanopoulos, Senators Lindsey Graham and Bernie Sanders were on to discuss health care. Leaving aside the fact Graham laid down a brilliant case against the current monstrosity of a bill, self-avowed socialist Sanders proclaims that 45,000 Americans are going to die this year because they can’t see a doctor.
Really, Bernie. Forty-five thousand. Can you please tell me where that number came from? Oh, yeah, probably from the same place that claims the U.S. Healthcare system is the WORST in the world!
Honestly, can’t these idiots come up with some new talking points besides “we are the only industrialized country, blah, blah, blah”? Yap, yap, yap all you want, but the American public really knows the truth.
This “reform” is going to do nothing more than raise taxes, raise current insurance premiums, and force more people onto the public dole. Although according Sanders, that’s what he’d really prefer – single-payer Medicare for everybody.
How scary is that?
On Friday, Beck rolled out new Breitbart video of Andy Stern railing against the evil US Chamber of Commerce, and again brings us the video of Manufacturing czar, Ron Bloom, villifying the free-market system.
Why is nobody else (the MSM) talking about these things? And don’t tell me they’re not important…. they ARE! Government control is NEVER a good thing, and this particular administration’s goons are scarier than we’ve ever seen.
