As is said in many places, “hilarity ensues” (h/t Mediaite):
Frances Martel does a fabulous write-up about it, and I couldn’t have said it any better, so here it is direct from the Mediaite post:
“Are you offended?” O’Reilly asked Harpootlian, who replied that he was not, but that he found the fact that Republicans had “no outreach to African Americans” a problem “in a state where we have an African-American Republican Congressman.” “Adding insult to injury, this debate ignoring Martin Luther King’s birthday!” he added, which made O’Reilly ask who was ignoring the debate and why. The Republicans, Harpootlian replied, because “no one has raised any issue with Fox about it being appropriate or inappropriate.”
Whether she is or not, I’m using her own tactics and words against her (and her fellow co-hosts). On the upcoming Barbara Walters “10 Most Fascinating People” special, one of the people Barbara interviews is former GOP primary candidate Herman Cain. Also interviewed in the special is Syrian President, Bashar al-Assad. When Barbara brings that up to discuss with her fellow View co-hosts, Joy immediately leapt at the chance to disparage Herman Cain, asking Barabara of whom she was most afraid …Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad or Herman Cain? Apparently Joy Blowhard is more afraid of a black man than she would be a brutal Hezbollah terrorist.
Joy, when are you going to realize that you are not funny? Bashar al-Assad is a terrorist leader and sympathizer of Hezbollah, a proxy terror group for Iran, and you are trying to equate someone like that to the unfairly maligned Herman Cain, who is a devout Christian, married for 43 years to his wife, Gloria? Assad’s goon squads have killed thousands of dissidents in Syria who have protested the dictator’s decades-long rule, yet Herman Cain is merely being ACCUSED of inappropriate behavior with mostly unknown women, all of whose claims can be clearly disproved given the chance for an appropriate investigation.
This is a delicious follow-up to yesterday’s segment on O’Reilly, where Laura interviewed Florida Congressman Allen West on his thoughts of Cong. Maxine Waters saying Barack is doing the black community a disservice. Apparently Cong. Charlie Rangle watched that exchange and had his own opinion of what West had to say. It started out typically adversarial, but once Rangle started going back to the “blame Bush” and “tea party” talking points, Laura took it up a notch or two…. or twelve.
Loved it! Folks like Rangle and Sharpton hate it when they’re called on being members in good standing in the race pimp industry. Good on you, Laura! Bill would have been too soft on shyster Rangle.
And oh, Mr. Rangle…sexist much? Laura is Bill O’s pretty “secret weapon?” You’re a toad.
The first segment of this piece is focused on illegal immigrants who are bitching and moaning about having to pay out-of-state tuition, which is part of the construct of HB 87. They briefly interview a female illegal immigrant student who laments that college is not going to be as affordable as she’d like. Since when the hell did education become a right? And you all have the NERVE to equate your struggles with “Brown vs. Board of Education?” Seriously? The new GA law is not requiring separate schools for illegal Mexicans and whites; it’s only enforcing the dang Federal laws that already exist.
What part of “illegal” are you guys not understanding? Why do you think you have a right to anything? You’re here in the country ILLEGALLY, so why are you expecting the red carpet to be rolled out for you? Out-of-state tuition should be the LEAST of your complaints. You should be happy your asses aren’t in JAIL!
On Meet the Press this weekend, David Gregory interviewed Newt Gingrich about his presidential run. One of the things he tried to pin on him was that he was racist because he said Obama has presided over an economy where 47% of Americans are on food stamps, and that the ultime run would be about paycheck vs. foodstamps.
Then if that wasn’t enough, E.J. Dionne in the panel discussion went one further – Newt said we need to follow the economic policies of Texas, not Detroit. We all know what a miserable failure Detroit has been, do we not? Well, apparently to E.J. Dionne, Detroit is code-word for “Motown,” which OBVIOUSLY makes Newt even more racist.
Now I’m no huge fan of Newt, but folks, this is just a preview of coming attractions. ALL those who oppose Obama’s policies or positions are going to be called “raaaaacists” for it. Let’s hope this outs those in the race-pimp industry for who they are – demagogues for Obama.
