‘The Forgotten Man’ by Jon McNaughton (VIDEO)

I found this gem online last night. Instant fan of McNaughton? You betcha! From the YouTube video:

What has President Obama done? Visit McNaughton Art.

Against the background of a darkening sky, all of the past Presidents of the United States gather before the White House, as if to commemorate some great event. In the left hand corner of the painting sits a man. That man, with his head bowed appears distraught and hopeless as he contemplates his future. Some of the past Presidents try to console him while looking in the direction of the modern Presidents as if to say, “What have you done?” Many of these modern Presidents, seemingly oblivious to anything other than themselves, appear to be congratulating each other on their great accomplishments. In front of the man, paper trash is blowing in the wind. Crumpled dollar bills, legislative documents, and, like a whisper—the U.S. Constitution beneath the foot of Barack Obama.

Check out the other pieces of his work here.

Red Eye Slams Emily’s List New Anti-Palin ‘Mama Grizzlies’ Pitiful Ad (VIDEO)

On Wednesday night’s Red Eye, guests included Matt McCall, Kimberly Guilfoyle, and Joe DeVito. Point of discussion was the new “Emily’s List” ad attempting (poorly, I might add) to parody and lambast Sarah Palin’s “Mama Grizzlies” ad.

If this is all the left has to fight with, I almost feel pity for them. And “almost” is not quite correct, because I don’t really pity them. LOL @ PDS from the left.

Why America is Starting to Hate Politicians – Perspective on the ‘Imperfect Game’ (VIDEO)

Last Friday, Detroit resident Howard Kornblum was on Cavuto’s FBN show, guest-hosted by Charles Payne. Kornblum is one of Michigan’s many unemployed, and I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone else put this “imperfect baseball game” nonsense about the Detroit Tigers and Armando Galarragas into proper perspective.

Kornblum nails it exactly as to why Americans are growing to detest crony politicians. It’s all about priorities and what is truly important; not the stupid idiotic crap they spend way too much time on. I agree Armando Galarraga did receive a bad call, but life goes on folks, and what happened in that game has no merit or even the tiniest of significance as to what’s happening in our country today.

And in case y’all haven’t seen it, both the umpire who made the bad call, as well as Galarraga have both showed true sportsmanship (and maturity) regarding this situation. Nothing else needs to be done or said about it. It’s truly sad that we, as a country, only focus on the alleged wrong that was done to the pitcher, when in reality it’s the way the two folks involved reacted to it that’s important.

Oh, My! More Dirt from Charlie Crist’s History? (VIDEO)

Wow… thanks to some friends who are Boyz in Illinois for this gem. This video is from back in 2006 on a scandal about not only Charlie Crist, but also Mark Foley and others. And who is Jason Wetherington? From the Boyz’ post:

The GOP has been protecting Charlie Crist for years. Watch the video above from 2006.

It’s from before Crist ran for Governor, when the Mark Foley scandal was cresting. In this report, it says conservative Christian groups were part of the conspiracy to protect Crist, because Crist was willing to make anti-gay remarks and push anti-gay policy…so long as he got to date 21-year-old men, be as hypocritical as possible, and remain as orange as he wanna be.

We talk repeatedly about Democrats knowing who all the gay Republicans are — including the three in Illinois’ Congressional delegation, Lindsey Graham in South Carolina, and others at large (and in charge). Democrats blackmail these closet cases into backing bad legislation, trading their submission for secret-keeping.

Republicans, ALSO, know who all these closet cases are, and keep their secrets because, as this video illustrates, some of these guys can be used to attack gays as proxies for the far Right. Who better to stick it to gays than closet cases, whom Democrats are also using, and whom Democrats won’t out or expose as hypocrites because they are so useful as pawns?

These guys are pawns to just about everyone it seems.

What the hell is in the water in Florida?

What’s Happening Tomorrow? A Vote on Statehood for Puerto Rico (VIDEO)

The Bill? It’s H.R. 2499.

It’s not as simple as it sounds. In fact, a co-worker of mine who is from Puerto Rico says she bets money that this will never pass. She said they’ve been trying this for eons and the vote has always been “no.” But, one thing she didn’t know (and neither did I) until today was what the ballot question would be; it’s not “Do you want to become a state?” anymore – it’s more nefarious than that. The manner of question does, indeed, dictate a pre-determined answer desired by the one posing the question. This technique is called many things, but ethical is not one of them. It is underhanded at the very least.

I’m going to show this video to my friend to see if she’s ever even heard of the Puerto Rican Progressive political movement and their platform before. I think she’s probably only known about the “yes/no” statehood votes before. We’ll see. If they opt for something like the “Tennessee Plan,” the outcome could be deleterious than the PR voters think.

Will Puerto Rico become our 51st state? Call your Congressional representatives NOW!
