Illegals in GA Protest New Anti-Illegal Immigration Law, HB 87 (VIDEO)

The State of Georgia recently joined Arizona and Utah in the fight against illegal immigration in our respective states. If the Federal Government won’t do their job, then the States have no choice but to protect ourselves with appropriate legislation. From 11Alive News:

The first segment of this piece is focused on illegal immigrants who are bitching and moaning about having to pay out-of-state tuition, which is part of the construct of HB 87. They briefly interview a female illegal immigrant student who laments that college is not going to be as affordable as she’d like. Since when the hell did education become a right? And you all have the NERVE to equate your struggles with “Brown vs. Board of Education?” Seriously? The new GA law is not requiring separate schools for illegal Mexicans and whites; it’s only enforcing the dang Federal laws that already exist.

What part of “illegal” are you guys not understanding? Why do you think you have a right to anything? You’re here in the country ILLEGALLY, so why are you expecting the red carpet to be rolled out for you? Out-of-state tuition should be the LEAST of your complaints. You should be happy your asses aren’t in JAIL!

Now to address the second segment in the video: the “sanctuary” businesses who are supporting the illegal criminal invaders under this guise of compassion. “Somos Georgia” is a group that needs to be exposed, and for all the businesses who participate in this nonsense need to understand that their “sanctuary” policies will garner them the opposite attention than what they want – can you say “boycott?”

I, for one, am going to spread the word about these businesses, and if me or any of my friends happen to come across any of them with their stupid signs in the window, we’ll spread the word about them and encourage all of our friends to do the same. The initial list from their website contains the following participating businesses/groups:

“BuySpots and Sanctuary Zones”

* Charis Books and More, 1189 Euclid Avenue Northeast, Atlanta, GA, 404.524.0304
* Radial Cafe, 1530 DeKalb Avenue, Suite G, Atlanta, GA, 404.659.6594
* Daily Point Cafe. 100 Peachtree St NW, Atlanta, GA, 678.235.2460
* Anatolia Cafe and Hookah Lounge, 52 Peachtree Street, Atlanta, GA, 404.584.3008
* Mediterranean Grill, 950 Monroe Drive, Atlanta, GA, 404.917.1100
* Trinity United Methodist Church, 265 Washington Street Southwest, Atlanta, GA, 404.659.6236
* Jalapeno Joe’s, 4484 Jimmy Lee Smith Parkway, F203, Hiram, GA, 770.943.8660
* MondoHomo Queer Music and Arts Festival

* Manuela Medina, individual
* Gentle Spirit Christian Church, 601 West Ponce de Leon Avenue, Decatur, GA

* Queer Justice League, Atlanta, GA
* Castleberry Communications, Inc., Atlanta, GA, 404.323.1813

If you know any of these businesses or see them as you go along your daily way, please pop in and let them know you will NOT be supporting them with either your money or your business, and that you will be telling all your friends to do the same.

This instanity has to stop, and it starts with each one of us standing up for what’s right, and what’s right, is the rule of law; not enabling or coddling lawlessness.

Cavuto to Mediscare Ad Creator – ‘Your Ad is Over the Top’ (VIDEO)

If you haven’t seen the repulsive “mediscare” ad I’m referring to, you will in this segment fromm Neil Cavuto’s show today. Erica Payne, member of a group called “The Agenda Project.” Um, yeah, I’d say that’s pretty fitting.

I guess if you want to really scare seniors, create an ad showing someone pushing their grandmother over a cliff. Yeah, that’s gonna really go over well with the public. /sarc

This woman is so ignorant I cannot believe Neil was so nice to her. It really doesn’t surprise me, however, hearing that she is inspired by her friend, the “Reverend” Jim Wallis (look him up). She so buys into his “social justice” garbage that she has to mention his name twice.

And what is this deal with the budget of this country being a “moral” issue? Seriously! How do these people think we’re going to be able to take care of ANYBODY when we have run completely out of money, or countries refuse to loan us any more? You can’t do squat when you have no money. Last time I tried to pay my rent by telling my landlord “can you please just give me a break this time? It’s the moral thing to do.” Yeah, she didn’t buy that either. And I’ve never been able to buy anything with an idea.

For those Atlas fans of you out there, don’t you think Ms. Payne could benefit from just a bit of Francisco’s money speech? Yeah, so do I.

Sen. Marco Rubio Spars with David Gregory on Meet the Press (VIDEO)

Wow! I think I’ve just seen a future President in this interview. And no, it’s not David Gregory. David kept trying to trip Marco up, but he was too deft for that. It appeared to me that Gregory was trying to make Rubio say something he would regret, but there was no chance of that. Marco is dead-on with his assessments, and you can tell he has the courage of his convictions. Watch the future President of the United States, Marco Rubio, win this round over Gregogry.

Beck on the Deficit of Trust in America – And Where’s the Media Outrage Over the $3-Gallon Gas Now? (VIDEO)

Today on Glenn’s show, he discussed the general deficit of trust we have in America, specifically when it deals with the media. For you libs out there, I’m putting this out front right now – Beck implores us all to NOT trust him, but go out and do research for ourselves on everything we see, read or hear. I’ve followed that and done all my own research.

Having said all that, Glenn is right about this issue. Where is the media now that gas is $3/gallon, yet when Bush was president, folks like Sens. Schumer and Clinton held press conferences and complained demanding answers for the price of gasoline, and Harry Reid even said the price of gasoline was more important than the housing market crisis. Seriously? And if memory serves me correctly, wasn’t it Schumer who held a press conference at a gas station between the pumps so the cameras could get the pump prices?

The gas price situation hypocrisy aside, there are many more things about which the mainstream media is dropping the ball. Some of these things include the state of the economy, the dead birds falling out of the sky, the dead fish washing up on shores around the world, energy prices in general, unemployment and consumer confidence, the “summer of recovery” scam, the EPA and the absolute destruction of our drilling in the gulf (all the while other countries are drilling directly in Gulf waters) therefore assuring our energy prices will “necessarily skyrocket,” and on and on and on.

The media is not doing its job, and it’s probably not a coincidence. To top all that off, who, besides Glenn, is reporting on the rise of the progressive movement in this country, and the trouble the labor movement is causing for our country as a whole? No matter how much audio and video Glenn shows us on his radio and TV show, it seems like nobody in the media really gives a damn.

Who knew that AFL-CIO head, Richard Trumka, was about anything more than “workers’ rights?” Well, if you have been watching or listening to Beck’s shows, then you know. If you don’t (and there are a lot who don’t), then you have no clue about the agenda that is underlying a lot of what’s going on in this country.

And the EPA? How much longer will we, as a people, stay silent as they go along their merry way (aided by regulatory Czar Cass Sunstein) crippling us as a nation with their regulations on gathering (or rather hindering the gathering of) natural resources and regulating other things before we all get off our duffs, get on the phones and call, or on our computers and email/fax/write our representatives and tell them to stop this madness before this Republic falls?

Seriously, how much do you love this country? If you think everything is just hunky-dorey, then just sit there like a lump watching American Idol, Entertainment Tonight, or Survivor, and just blindly believe that ‘hey, we’re America…everything will be allright.’ IT WON’T, you jackasses! One day you’re all going to wake up and ask “WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?” At that point in time, you’ll have no one to blame but yourself and it will be too late.

Stay informed, stay involved, get educated, pay attention, and TAKE A STAND FOR YOUR COUNTRY! If not for your country, do it at least for your fellow man. And don’t rely on the media (Glenn Beck or otherwise) to give you the information you need – go get it for yourself! Either way, you cannot stand for nothing forever; you must stand for something or else you’ll fall for anything, as the saying goes. Me? I’m reading everything I can get my hands on, reading up on history (all original sources), and learning everything I can about it so I can do what is necessary to make sure we don’t repeat the mistakes from the past, and try to engage in the things that made us, as a nation and people, a success.

The choice is yours. Choose wisely, but whatever the hell you do, at least choose! Riding the fence is no longer an option for any of us. Our country’s future depends on it. Where will you stand when all is said and done? You will have to answer to your family, kids and grandkids for what you did or did not do. But make the choice and understand that whatever your choice ultimately is, you will have to live with it.

Frank Luntz Focus Group Featuring Freshmen Republican Members of Congress (VIDEO)

This was a great gathering, although it’s not like the typical dial-meter focus groups Frank Luntz has, but nonetheless it was very exciting to see and hear from some of the incoming freshmen Republican congressmen and congresswomen. Yes, they’re going to say all the right things we want to hear, but I’m tired of being a cynic. So, let’s give them a shot and see if they can stick to the ideas and goals they laid out here for themselves and the 112th Congress – at least on the Republican side of the aisle.

I hope they are successful and that they don’t get the Potomac Fever; it’s ruined many a good person. Let’s hold them to what they say today. Come back in six months and see if you are disappointed or surprised by any of them. Me? I’m gonna give them a chance.
