On Friday, Julianna Smoot from Obama’s 2012 campaign sent out an email alert titled “Karl Rove sent you a message.” This is just another of the Obama 2012 campaign emails begging for $3 for a varity of things, from a chance to have dinner with Barack and Michelle, to a chance for another dinner with Nancy Pelosi and Obama. $3 really? Would it be worth that? ! I don’t know about you all, but they’d have to PAY me to have dinner with any of these idiots. I don’t think I could keep my dinner down with Pelosi, either, so that would have to weigh in on my decision to parting with three of my hard-earned dollars. I’ll have to think on that one.
Oh, okay, I’ve decided: No thanks.
Anyway, Julianna’s email provides us with some earth-shattering, unbelievable insight into Karl Rove’s intentions for 2012. From the email (emphasis mine):

Karl Rove tweeted about you.
When he heard about our Two-Term Fund, he tweeted:
We often ask people for $3 because we believe as many people as possible should take ownership of the political process. It’s easy to understand why that might not compute to the guy doing a lot of the selling for a party bought and sold by special interests.
Since we launched the Two-Term Fund Wednesday afternoon, 48,481 people have stepped up and chipped in an average of $39.10 each.
Can you help — with $3 or whatever you can afford?
It’s telling that Karl Rove is planning to raise hundreds of millions of dollars for the 2012 campaign — but hasn’t endorsed or worked for any of the candidates.
That’s because he doesn’t care who wins the nomination.
His singular, obsessive focus is defeating Barack Obama.
So, knowing Karl Rove is watching, here’s my real question:
Can you pitch in to stop him?
Wow! What a SHOCKA! Tell me something else, Captian Obvious. Karl Rove is singularly focused on beating Obama? Really? Julianna, that is some deep inside information you have there. You must have some hard-working moles in the GOP. Whoulda thunk that anybody on the right is primarily focused on making Obama a true one-termer? I do have my preference, but in the end, Karl Rove isn’t the only one who has this “obsessive focus.” Pretty much any conservative American has the same focus, I’m sure. There is no doubt whatsoever that a second term for Barack Obama would put this country on a path from which I don’t know if it can return.
Barry’s campaign is so lucky to have such an insightful person as Julianna on their team. She’s really got that extra special something.
By the way…you all have figured out why they always ask for $3, don’t you? Having a practical background in marketing, I figured this one out very quickly. If someone is going to belly up to their computer to give $3, they’re going to say to themselves “why not just go ahead and give the next denomination up… $5?” It’s a mind trick, folks. Then they think (OfA hopes) “…then why not $10?” It’s the same ruse that retailers use when they list an item for $7.99 so that your mind says it’s “less than $8,” even though the difference is just a penny. Quite telling to see this marketing genius employeed by OfA.
