Today Glenn Beck pointed out the absolute brain-frying uber hypocrisy of John McCain saying “The fundamentals of the economy are sound” last year, versus the Obama administration saying it recently. Although the left will tell you “oh, no, this is different,” don’t you believe it. It’s the same damn thing, only the economy was more sound when McCain said it! And it’s so overtly hypocritical that even Whoopi Goldberg had to give McCain props for the call.
As I said before… pigs are flying on that last one.
On The View today, Whoopi brought up the Obama Admin’s recent statement that the “fundamentals of the economy are sound,” and wondered aloud if that didn’t sound familiar. Joy and Sherri try their best to argue that it’s different now that Obama says it, citing the recent stimulus, etc., and Elisabeth just looks at them like they’re crazy (which they are). Then surprise of all surprises, Whoopi ends the segment saying perhaps John was looking forward to what would be in the near future and that he turned out being right. Then she actually gave McCain his due for being right.
Today on Dr. Phil, the subject was “President Obama – Hope Vs. Reality.” Ann Coulter, Alan Colmes, and Scott McClellan were guests. I was absolutely SHOCKED by the warm reception Ann got from Dr. Phil’s audience, especially since they’re in California. Having said that, Dr. Phil is a good ‘ol Texas boy, who probably has the same values and Constitutional values as does Ann. I was delighted to see the positive response.
Scott McClellan looked absolutely frightened – Ann seemed not to want to pounce on him, for fear of offending Dr. Phil (southern manners do apply), but she was ticked at Scott nonetheless. That was VERY evident! Alan was even a good sport, and I enjoyed seeing the 4 of them discuss these issues together. Dr. Phil asked Ann, at the end, if she would come back and discuss the subject of unwed mothers, because, as he said, she has a mountain of evidence and statistics on this subject, and how it has brought ruin to our society. I have a feeling Dr. Phil is a kindred spirit in the conservative world.
This was quite a find, ladies and gentlemen. I’m so glad I caught it. I’m looking forward to Ann’s next appearance on Dr. Phil, and you can look forward to seeing that here, as well.
Haven’t you done enough damage to our party already? Just go away and shut the f**k up, okay? Jeebus!
In a surprising rebuke to the warriors who fought for him through tough times, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) on Sunday sided with President-elect Barack Obama and scolded the Republican National Committee for fanning the Illinois corruption scandal.
On ABC’s “This Week,” host George Stephanopoulos asked: “The chairman of the Republican National Committee, Mike Duncan, has been highly critical of the way President- elect Obama has dealt with this.
“He’s had a statement every single day, saying that the Obama team should reveal all contacts they’ve had with Governor [Rod] Blagojevich. He says that Obama’s promise of transparency to the American people is now being tested. Do you agree with that?”
McCain replied: “I think that the Obama campaign should and will give all information necessary. You know, in all due respect to the Republican National Committee and anybody — right now, I think we should try to be working constructively together, not only on an issue such as this, but on the economy stimulus package, reforms that are necessary. And so, I don’t know all the details of the relationship between President-elect Obama’s campaign or his people and the governor of Illinois, but I have some confidence that all the information will come out. It always does, it seems to me.”
I only voted for your dumbass because you picked Sarah as your running mate. I’m sure she, like all of us, are glad to be rid of your stupid self.
For all of you who voted for The Chosen One, I pray that you are beginning to question your vote for “hope” and “change.” The events in Mumbai, India are clear evidence that what we need is significantly more than “hope” and “change.” We need a steady, knowledgeable hand in the White House right now; not an unknown, unproven, untested, untrustworthy demi-God.
Just think about this: 60% of the people said they trusted John McCain more on national security issues, but just as many trusted Obama more on the economy. Well, what difference does a good economy make when you’re being attacked by terrorist nations and jihadist groups? It makes no difference at all. God help us all (and I mean the real God).
All of you who are fans of Boston Legal will recognize the irony in this. Alan gets a client who says she was fired from her job because she voted for McCain, so that wouldn’t be up Alan’s alley, right? Alan reluctantly takes the case, but you’ll see in the end who it truly skewers.
I don’t take Boston Legal seriously; otherwise it would be unwatchable due to its leftist leanings. But it’s so damn funny that I’ve been addicted to it for years. William Shatner has also been great fodder for previous clips as “DENNY CRANE!”
I found this wonderful blogger/cartoonist at DrawForTruth. This cartoon actually states in a picture what can only be described is how Americans feel today about the healthcare reform bill being crammed down our throats right now.
They reportedly have the votes for tomorrow, but it still doesn’t make the bill right for America. God help [...]
A good friend passed along this video to me today, and it couldn’t have come on a better day. Enjoy!
This video perfectly embodies the sentiment of those who oppose big government and unsustainable spending.

I am SO proud of one of my home state’s Republican Senators, Tom Coburn. Not only is he a fine Senator, but he’s also a physician. Today he fired a warning shot across the bow to Dems, saying that if they think they can vote yes on the “deem to pass” rule but think they [...]
Well, somebody’s gotta pick up ACORN’s slack, dont’ they?
Yesterday on Beck, Glenn revealed even more lies the president and top Dems are churning out about alleged “victims” of our “broken” healthcare system. They keep trotting out these people at press events and other occasions to use and abuse these people to get this healthcare [...]
…and hilarity ensues.
I don’t agree with Stewart’s political views, but when he’s funny, he’s really funny. Check out this latest video of his recent discovery of Chatroulette.
I didn’t know Brian Williams had that good a sense of humor! I needed this laugh today.
From the ZDNet blog today:
At the RSA Conference in San Francisco, U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano discusses three efforts underway to ensure the security of the nation’s cyberinfrastructure. This includes the development of National Cybersecurity Incident Response Plan, which will facilitate a coordinated response to cyberthreats from the federal government, local city [...]
