…What Col. West Said! ‘Shut Your Mouth; War Is Hell!’

I’ve been stewing on this and stewing on this figuring out the right way to convey how I feel about it, and I’ve been struggling with just the right words to describe my sentiment. I read a fabulous screed by Deebow over at BlackFive, but it wasn’t until I saw the headline in a Weekly Standard piece today that quoted Lt. Col. Allen West (R-FL) on this matter. I couldn’t have said it better myself:

‘Shut Your Mouth, War Is Hell’

Yes, you got that right. Congressman West has weighed in on this flap over the Marines taking a piss on dead Taliban terrorists, sending an email to the Weekly Standard, who got his permission to print what he said. Here’s a portion of his commentary:

“All these over-emotional pundits and armchair quarterbacks need to chill. Does anyone remember the two Soldiers from the 101st Airborne Division who were beheaded and gutted in Iraq?

“The Marines were wrong. Give them a maximum punishment under field grade level Article 15 (non-judicial punishment), place a General Officer level letter of reprimand in their personnel file, and have them in full dress uniform stand before their Battalion, each personally apologize to God, Country, and Corps videotaped and conclude by singing the full US Marine Corps Hymn without a teleprompter.

“As for everyone else, unless you have been shot at by the Taliban, shut your mouth, war is hell.”

I’m not even quite sure that what the Marines did was wrong, but since when in the hell did we become so indignant and self-righteously outraged about treating killers like they deserve to be treated? Sure, they probably shouldn’t have videotaped what they did, but who the hell cares? And don’t give me this “don’t stoop to their level” B.S. either. Until you have been in the shoes of our warriors, or our first responders (cops, firefighters, etc.), or, heck, even ever been a crime victim yourself, you have no idea what you would do, given the same circumstances.

Big Journalism Editor-in-Chief and CNN contributor (as well as Tea Party rock star), Dana Loesch, also hit the nail on the head on her radio show Thursday: (h/t Mediaite)

“Can someone explain to me if there’s supposed to be a scandal that someone pees on the corpse of a Taliban fighter? Someone who, as part of an organization, murdered over 3,000 Americans? I’d drop trou and do it too. That’s me though. I want a million cool points for these guys. Is that harsh to say? Come on people, this is a war. What do people think this is?”

Atta girl, Dana…give ‘em hell. I know I’d be right there next to you ‘droppin’ trou’ too! They deserve nothing less.

And as Boortz put it so well today on his show…there are just some people in this world who really deserve to be pissed on. And “dead tangos” fit that bill quite nicely.

Sarah Palin Comes Out Swinging at Tea Party Bashers, RINOs & Other Hypocrites on Hannity (VIDEOS)

Sarah is feeling like me today… sick of the all the left-wing (and some right-wing) hypocrites charges of the Tea Party being “jihadis,” “suicide bombers,” “hobbits,” and “terrorists,” from everyone to the whiney little MSNBC & NY Times’ characters, all the way up to the Vice President. Enough is enough, especially when we were lectured by our Crybaby-In-Chief after the horrible Tucson inicident, that there needed to be a new civility…a “new tone,” as some called it. Yet, who is it that have been the biggest offenders of using this stupid, childisih, and truly insane name-calling when trying to demonize their opponents? The left, of course… trusty “Rules for Radicals” books in-hand.

Having said that, we have had our share of idiocy from some on our side of the aisle. Well, this “hobbit” has also had enough. Enough of opportunists like Romney and all others like him, only coming out to stake their spot when it’s politically expedient. There are a few out there who have “stuck their necks out a mile,” but that list doesn’t include the one person who actually claimed he had. To him, I say “YOU LIE!”

YOU KEEP GOIN, Sarah! You’re saying what so many of us are THINKING out here, and we’re glad you’re not afraid to call it like you see it. Enough is enough – time to start FIGHTING BACK!

Someone in one of the foreign newspapers said Norway has “lost its innocence.” I’ve got news for you, sir…as long as radical Islam is on the march, no country can claim innocence any longer. It’s time to stop the P.C. crap and start fighting this war like we mean it.

It appears this may not have been related to Islamic-extremism, but perhaps a “lone wolf” type scenario. I will not apologize for my initial reaction due to all the events and actions that surrounded this tragedy, coupled with the empiric evidence out there about the majority of terrorist attacks – especially bombings. Even though officials have dismissed this possibility in part, I am still not convinced it was NOT a Nordic man who is an Islamic convert. Only time will tell.

Well, so far it appears that this was just a lone wolf, but sources say there was possibly a second shooter on the island. This was really my thinking, too, because now the death toll is over 80. Plus, the shootings WITH the VBIED bombs seem just impossible for one person to pull off. I am still waiting for all the details to come out, but I am willing to say right here and now that I might have been wrong in my original post. As some are saying, this appears to be Oslo’s “Oklahoma City.” As someone who lived in Oklahoma City on April 15, 1995, I know all about that, and truthfully when I first saw the pictures of the buildings in Oslo, that was exactly what I thought of.

Having said this, I still say there is no room for P.C. crap anymore. Regardless of these lone wolf type situations.

13-Year-Old Syrian Boy Hamza al-Khatib Mutilated & Tortured to Death (VIDEO)

Please heed the above warning if you are at all squeamish, but this needs to be seen. Why are we so concerned about helping save the Lybian people, when there is a CLEAR and present danger to the protesters in Syria? This little boy was caught up in mass arrests and was returned to his family in this condition. This little 13-year-old Hamza al-Khatib did NOTHING to deserve this.

A video posted on YouTube purports to show the body of 13-year-old Hamza al-Khatib who was reportedly tortured to death in Syrian police custody.

The boy disappeared on April 29 after a demonstration in Daraa – where he was delivering supplies like food, blankets and medicine to residents who were being blockaded in their homes by Syrian military, according to the Law Enforcement Examiner. According to AFP, activists said the teen decided after police had killed his cousin to take part in the anti-regime protests sweeping the country.

Khatib’s body, wrapped in plastic, was left in front of his family’s home on Wednesday. There were obvious signs of torture on his body, including his genitalia cut off.

How much longer with the world allow the forces of Bashar Al-Assad to visit this mass murder upon his own people?

Obama’s Epic Fail Trying to Answer Indian Student’s Question About Jihad (VIDEO)

Man, oh, man. This man is really starting to scare the crap out of me with this appeasement horse squeeze.

And on top of that, he never even answered the girl’s question. Believe me, Indians know EXACTLY what Jihad is, as its definition has been written in the streets…in blood…for decades. If anyone knows what Jihad is, it’s certainly the Indians. Unfortunately, our Commander in Chief can’t bring himself to admit it himself.
