Just Checkin’ In…

Hi, folks. Even though I’ve been noticeably absent in posting of late, it’s not because I’m going away. So much is going on right now, and although they are not excuses for my absence, they are at least reasons: the constant spectre of my company laying off hundreds of employees; the break-neck speed at which this Obama administration has us on careening down the hill of uncertainty and fear; the out-of-control debts we’re incurring; the hopelessness at the government’s refusal to listen to ‘we the people;’ the fear that so much that is so bad happening is making us numb and feeling like we can’t do anything to stop this freight train; and just a whole host of other issues that make daily life a test of faith.

I know I’m not alone, but I’ve lately experienced sudden bursts of uncontrollable sobbing at the seeming disconnect between this behemoth government and an overwhelming fear for my country which I love so much.

I have to buck up, stick my chin out, and soldier on, as is said. It’s just so hard lately to possess the wherewithall to convince myself I HAVE to face this monster head-on. Keep your hands off my healthcare! The government has NO business having any say in the discussions/decisions I make with my private physicians.

It just seems we’re losing at every turn. How much more can we take? Obama, stop spending….WE HAVE NO MORE MONEY!

All I can say is God bless Glenn Beck, because I’ve learned more about this nation’s history than I ever learned in school. I just hope I’m not alone in this… and that others feel the same desperation, and perhaps we can all find each other, connect, gather strength to continue this fight. This country is worth fighting for; I just need the encouragement to do so. Times are tough but we can get throught it – we just need to stick together.

God bless my fellow patriots and I pray for God to intervene to give us the strength we need to win this battle.

And for God’s sake, QUITE trying to tinker with our Founding Documents, especially the US Constitution. ENOUGH already!

All we can do at this point is to pray for divine intervention to save us from this narcissistic ideologue, who fancies himself as some kind of world saviour. Be careful, B-Ho, God doesn’t take kindly to folks bearing falst witness.

Glenn Beck & David Barton on the “Black Regiment” – Religion & the Revolutionary War (VIDEO)

For those of you who think our country was not founded and rooted in Christianity, you must check out the book by David Barton called “Original Intent.” In this episode, Barton & Beck discuss what was known as either the “Black Robe Brigade” or the “Black Regiment.”

The British long blamed the Revolutionary War on these clergymen, but this part of our history just proves exactly how religion served such an important part of this country’s founding. These brave clergymen were also members of the regimental Army and fought hard for this country, to be wrested from British rule, knowing that Christianity was based on the relationship between God and individual men; not the collective.

“Social Justice” was/is merely a tool of socialist Marxism, which our Founding Fathers wanted no part of. It’s what set us apart from the Monarchy and socialist Europe.

For more information on Faith and our Founding Fathers, check out David Barton’s website, Wallbuilders.

Dr. Alveda King, Glenn Beck, Prof. Robert George and…Ted Nugent? (VIDEO)

Today brought the really not-so-unbelievable confluence of three different personalities for the Glenn Beck program – Dr. Alveda King, niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Pro-Life Activist; Ted Nugent, rock superstar and American patriot; and Robert George, Professor of Jurisprudence at Princeton University.

This has to be one of the most unique Beck segments, but one of the most heart-warming as well. I think black Democrats will be surprised at the cohesion of ideals in this diverse group of people. I was quite impressed. Many folks should come away from this episode feeling much better about the future of this country, and take comfort in knowing that we all have more in common than most people think.

Michelle Malkin Takes On The View Hags (VIDEO)

I’m going to let this video speak for itself. Michelle is on to promote her book, “Culture of Corruption.” I’d like to see Tanya Reiman read this panel’s body language. Joy is absolutely apoplectic, and Sherri struggles to speak intelligently.

GO MICHELLE, GO!

Sarah Palin Resigns But Declares to Continue Working for America (VIDEO)

Today Sarah Palin announced that not only would she not run for office again in 2010, but she’s officially handing over the reins of the governorship to Lt. Gov. Parnell effective July 26th.

For those who underestimate Sarah, they do so at their own peril. We have seen no other politician like her, and that is not a bad thing; it is truly a good thing, so her announcement today is not a negative in my book. She realizes the frivolous complaints by the weak, whiny libs from the DNC were unnecessarily costing Alaska too much money, so she’s stepping aside to have more political clout from outside the political box.

You go, Sarah. More people support you than you know, and the reason why you were attacked so much is because people fear you. I say that’s a good thing, and a sign you’re doing something right.
