Joe Wurzelbacher appeared on Hannity & Colmes again tonight, talking about the election outcome and Obama’s ideas, and he schools Colmes like he did in the past. As with the interview with CNN’s Rick Sanchez, Joe has to remind Alan it’s not about who pays what taxes, government assistance, etc., but it’s about the principles. Alan just can’t seem to grasp that, just as Sanchez could not. It’s amazing to me that an everyday middle-class American citizen can be so disparaged for simply asking a question of a politician, that resulted in quite a controversial response. And that citizen is so courageous to stand his ground, back the candidate of his choice, yet still shows no fear in answering the hard questions asked of him.
The press has really asked tougher questions of Joe Wurzelbach than they have of Barack Obama. I would even venture to say, that we know more about Joe’s life than we do Obama’s.
Colmes tries to spar with him, but I’m afraid he brought an intellectual knife to an intellectual gunfight. Battle at the H&C Corral. I gotta admit this: Joe has really struck a chord in middle America, and I admire him a lot for his tenacity. I also hope that he does make that bid for elected office as he’s talked about in the past – he’d make one fine representative for the people in his district. GO, JOE, GO!
Oh, and stay classy, Alan. By bringing up the fact that Joe has been on welfare in the past, that just makes you look so … um … classy. Classy as in Rick “Dirty” Sanchez ‘classy.’
One final note: Mr. Wurzelbacher announced a new website tonight, one that he formed because of all the recent campaign activities. It’s called Secure Our Dream, and you can check it out here. I look for many good things to come from Joe, and me and my websites will have his back all the way!
