Chris Horner Eviscerates AGW Cultist Nancy Skinner on Beck (VIDEO)

Author Christopher Horner appeared on the Glenn Beck show today, guest-hosted by Judge Napolitano, to debate the cult of climate change, better known as “Anthropogenic Global Warming.” Pairing Chris Horner with Nancy Skinner was kinda not fair in the first place, but Skinner agreed to be on the show, so she deserved the smackdown she got. I’ve seen Ms. Skinner on many other shows, and I’ve rarely seen her stutter and stammer like she did in this segment.

But then again, when you’re trying to argue the merits and beliefs of the AGW cultists, I guess you just have to wing it when you can. If cultists like Nancy had their way, they’d be happy if the EPA deemed H2O a toxin. Reagan believed the government was the problem, and cultists like Nancy beileve people are the problem; me? I think Reagan was right.

If you get a chance, you should check out Horner’s best-selling book “Red Hot Lies: How Global Warming Alarmists Use Threats, Fraud, and Deception to Keep You Misinformed.” His latest book, which I haven’t read yet, is “Power Grab: How Obama’s Green Policies Will Steal Your Freedom and Bankrupt America.” Mr. Horner is considered to be one of the leading experts in debunking AGW, and Ms. Skinner is considered…well, just another liberal bed-wetting apologist for the left and the Obama administration.

Herman Cain Treats Bloggers at the AFP Summit to a Sit-Down Interview (VIDEO)

One of the guest speakers for the mid-day Opening Session luncheon, Herman Cain, popped in to the AFP Bloggers’ Row, and to our tremendous surprise, he was willing to give us all a sit-down interview. The whole group got to ask him questions, one at a time, about what his political plans are for the future, and solutions he would propose to fix the problems in our nation today.

For those of you who don’t know Herman, he’s a much-beloved Atlanta talk show host on WSB Radio. He’s also a staunch proponent of the Fair Tax. Herman Cain has quite an impressive bio, and here is just a portion of it from his website:

In 1986, Pillsbury appointed Cain to the presidency of the then financially troubled Godfather’s Pizza, Inc. chain headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska. In 14 short months, under Cain’s leadership, the chain regained profitability. In 1988, he led his executive team in a buyout of the company from Pillsbury.

Cain was elected to the Board of Directors of the National Restaurant Association in 1988. In 1994 to 1995, he served as Chairman of the Board of Directors. While leading this association, he developed the organization into a pro-business voice via national debates and speeches concerning health care reform, employment policies, and taxation. Following this experience, he was appointed to serve on the Economic Growth and Tax Reform Commission in addition to serving as Chairman and Member of the Board of Directors for the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. He then became a senior advisor to the 1996 Dole/Kemp campaign for the Presidency.

Herman Cain continued the responsibilities of President and Chairman of Godfather’s Pizza, Incorporated, while beginning a second career delivering national keynote speeches. Using his messages as the foundation, he created his own leadership consulting company, The THE New Voice, Inc. THE New Voice packages his speaking and develops his products, including books, DVDs, CDs of gospel music, and promotes his keynote speeches. He has authored four books to date on topics ranging from leadership to self-empowerment including Leadership is Common Sense and CEO of Self.

Herman is a force to be reckoned with, and as I Tweeted during the AFP Summit, Herman told us at the Georgia Luncheon he’s gone from being in “prayerful consideration” to running for President in 2012, to now being in “serious consideration.” And for those of you who don’t know Herman like Georgians know Herman, I’d pay good money to see a debate between him and our current POTUS. Obama wouldn’t know what hit him. And Herman doesn’t need a teleprompter, either.

I’ve Figured It Out – Why Obama’s Reached His Epic Fail Moment

by MsUnderestimated — Categories: Energy Policy, ObamaLeave a comment

This is just a short observation after the televised speech from the Oval Office…it’s really nothing fancy. I now know why Obama has been so incompetent responding to this disaster. He’s already proclaimed in the past: “I cannot dive down and plug the hole myself;” “I can’t just go down there and suck it out with a straw;” “Plug the damn hole!;” I, I, I, me, me, me…

It’s really very easy. Do you see it in his recent quotes? Okay, if you didn’t here’s the deal:

Obama is so powerful himself that by God if HE can’t fix this problem, then nobody can, so why bother? He really thinks he’s the one that will make the oceans recede and the planet heal. And if he is unable to do so, it must be a moot point to seek help from others, right? Yeah, that’s what I thought, too.

Frank Luntz Holds a Live Focus Group in New Orleans About the Oil Spill (VIDEO)

This group is comprised of nothing other than residents of the state of Louisiana, who are really the ones most radically affected by the BP oil spill and the aftermath. They tell Luntz & Hannity exactly how they feel about BP, the government’s response, the future of drilling, the fishing industry, among other topics close to Louisiana’s hearts.

How did they grade it all, including Obama’s “whose ass to kick” comment? Lots of good stuff here, and these folks’ opinions really matter more than anyone else’s.

Hey, BP and Barack… ARE YOU FREAKIN’ LISTENING???????

Hannity & Palin Discuss GOP Women, Conservatism, the Tea Party, & BP (VIDEO)

Sarah appeared on Sean’s show to discuss all the hot topics of today. Partial transcript from the Fox News website:

HANNITY:Governor, I — all these women yesterday, many of whom you endorsed, were very successful. How do you interpret the results of yesterday?

PALIN: Yes, I heard you list some of them, including there, too, Susana Martinez in New Mexico, some of the gubernatorial candidates.

You know, these are just good patriots who are willing to put it all on the line and get our country and our states back on the right track economically and militarily. They just use common sense and they know the Constitution, they want to protect the Constitution. We’re lucky to have them as candidates.

It certainly doesn’t have anything to do with my endorsement, to tell you the truth. Because, truly, like John Wooden said, it doesn’t matter who is right, it matters what is right. And what is right is the message that they have to get our country back on the right track.

And Americans are craving that. We’re sick of the big government, Obama-touch on this country and we’re going to do something about it.

HANNITY: Yes. Well, there are three cases in particular where both you and the Tea Party Movement supported, for example, Rand Paul in Kentucky, Sharron Angle out in Nevada and this case of Nikki Haley who’s going to be joining us later in the program tonight.

So those are three instances where the Tea Party and Sarah Palin supported the winning candidate that the establishment did not support.

So are we to read anything into that?

PALIN: Yes, yes. Even the Republican machine needs to understand that hey, we’re not going to put up with those in the machine that have strayed from the planks and the platforms that are supposed to be building this country into an even more exceptional country than America already is.

So the machines on both sides of the aisle, Democrats and Republicans who have believed that government is the answer, we’re sending a message to them. That’s what the Tea Party is all about, just getting government back on the side of the people and really independents.

Go, Sarah, GO!
