Beck on the Deficit of Trust in America – And Where’s the Media Outrage Over the $3-Gallon Gas Now? (VIDEO)

Today on Glenn’s show, he discussed the general deficit of trust we have in America, specifically when it deals with the media. For you libs out there, I’m putting this out front right now – Beck implores us all to NOT trust him, but go out and do research for ourselves on everything we see, read or hear. I’ve followed that and done all my own research.

Having said all that, Glenn is right about this issue. Where is the media now that gas is $3/gallon, yet when Bush was president, folks like Sens. Schumer and Clinton held press conferences and complained demanding answers for the price of gasoline, and Harry Reid even said the price of gasoline was more important than the housing market crisis. Seriously? And if memory serves me correctly, wasn’t it Schumer who held a press conference at a gas station between the pumps so the cameras could get the pump prices?

The gas price situation hypocrisy aside, there are many more things about which the mainstream media is dropping the ball. Some of these things include the state of the economy, the dead birds falling out of the sky, the dead fish washing up on shores around the world, energy prices in general, unemployment and consumer confidence, the “summer of recovery” scam, the EPA and the absolute destruction of our drilling in the gulf (all the while other countries are drilling directly in Gulf waters) therefore assuring our energy prices will “necessarily skyrocket,” and on and on and on.

The media is not doing its job, and it’s probably not a coincidence. To top all that off, who, besides Glenn, is reporting on the rise of the progressive movement in this country, and the trouble the labor movement is causing for our country as a whole? No matter how much audio and video Glenn shows us on his radio and TV show, it seems like nobody in the media really gives a damn.

Who knew that AFL-CIO head, Richard Trumka, was about anything more than “workers’ rights?” Well, if you have been watching or listening to Beck’s shows, then you know. If you don’t (and there are a lot who don’t), then you have no clue about the agenda that is underlying a lot of what’s going on in this country.

And the EPA? How much longer will we, as a people, stay silent as they go along their merry way (aided by regulatory Czar Cass Sunstein) crippling us as a nation with their regulations on gathering (or rather hindering the gathering of) natural resources and regulating other things before we all get off our duffs, get on the phones and call, or on our computers and email/fax/write our representatives and tell them to stop this madness before this Republic falls?

Seriously, how much do you love this country? If you think everything is just hunky-dorey, then just sit there like a lump watching American Idol, Entertainment Tonight, or Survivor, and just blindly believe that ‘hey, we’re America…everything will be allright.’ IT WON’T, you jackasses! One day you’re all going to wake up and ask “WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?” At that point in time, you’ll have no one to blame but yourself and it will be too late.

Stay informed, stay involved, get educated, pay attention, and TAKE A STAND FOR YOUR COUNTRY! If not for your country, do it at least for your fellow man. And don’t rely on the media (Glenn Beck or otherwise) to give you the information you need – go get it for yourself! Either way, you cannot stand for nothing forever; you must stand for something or else you’ll fall for anything, as the saying goes. Me? I’m reading everything I can get my hands on, reading up on history (all original sources), and learning everything I can about it so I can do what is necessary to make sure we don’t repeat the mistakes from the past, and try to engage in the things that made us, as a nation and people, a success.

The choice is yours. Choose wisely, but whatever the hell you do, at least choose! Riding the fence is no longer an option for any of us. Our country’s future depends on it. Where will you stand when all is said and done? You will have to answer to your family, kids and grandkids for what you did or did not do. But make the choice and understand that whatever your choice ultimately is, you will have to live with it.

Chris Horner Eviscerates AGW Cultist Nancy Skinner on Beck (VIDEO)

Author Christopher Horner appeared on the Glenn Beck show today, guest-hosted by Judge Napolitano, to debate the cult of climate change, better known as “Anthropogenic Global Warming.” Pairing Chris Horner with Nancy Skinner was kinda not fair in the first place, but Skinner agreed to be on the show, so she deserved the smackdown she got. I’ve seen Ms. Skinner on many other shows, and I’ve rarely seen her stutter and stammer like she did in this segment.

But then again, when you’re trying to argue the merits and beliefs of the AGW cultists, I guess you just have to wing it when you can. If cultists like Nancy had their way, they’d be happy if the EPA deemed H2O a toxin. Reagan believed the government was the problem, and cultists like Nancy beileve people are the problem; me? I think Reagan was right.

If you get a chance, you should check out Horner’s best-selling book “Red Hot Lies: How Global Warming Alarmists Use Threats, Fraud, and Deception to Keep You Misinformed.” His latest book, which I haven’t read yet, is “Power Grab: How Obama’s Green Policies Will Steal Your Freedom and Bankrupt America.” Mr. Horner is considered to be one of the leading experts in debunking AGW, and Ms. Skinner is considered…well, just another liberal bed-wetting apologist for the left and the Obama administration.

Arianna Rails on “Boooosh-Cheney” About Everything…to Liz Cheney (VIDEO)

On This Week yesterday, the round table was woefully inadequate on the left (which isn’t saying much), when they pitted Arianna Huffington and Markos Moulitsas against Liz Cheney and George Will. That’s like pairing a AAA team with the Yankees. Nice job, Tapper.

The Daily Kos kid handler, Markos, and HuffPo’s leader, Arianna, tried their best to blame everything that’s happening in the Gulf (and on Wall Street) on “Booosh-Cheney,” but they weren’t very successful.

Here are best parts of the discussion from ABC:

Sparks flew on our powerhouse roundtable this morning as Liz Cheney, a former Bush administration official, and Arianna Huffington, founder of the Huffington Post, sparred over who was ultimately responsible for the conditions that led to the massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

“The truth is,” Huffington said, “that right now we have precisely the regulatory system that the Bush-Cheney administration wanted: full of loopholes, full of cronies and lobbyists filling the very agencies they are supposed to be overseeing the industry.”

“So,” George Will asked, “it’s Bush’s fault? Just clear this up.”

“It is absolutely, a thousand percent Bush-Cheney’s fault,” Huffington said.

“Ahh,” Will sighed.

“I actually heard that George Bush was responsible for the breakup of Tipper and Al Gore’s marriage too,” Liz Cheney said sarcastically. “I mean it’s incredible the extent to which people are now trying to shift blame.”

“You gotta look at the facts,” Cheney said. “For years you have been demonizing Bush and Cheney and I’m sure you will continue to demonize them for years going forward, but we have got now a catastrophe on the Gulf Coast…that happened on this administration’s watch, which this administration is failing to clean up,” she said, adding that President Obama was failing to show leadership on the oil spill.

“Right here, we have the posterchild of Bush-Cheney crony capitalism, Halliburton, and we haven’t said about that,” Huffington hit back. “They, after all, were responsible for cementing the well. Here is Halliburton, after it defrauded the American taxpayer of hundreds of millions of dollars…”

“Arianna,” Cheney interrupted. “I don’t what planet you live on, but that’s not planet earth.”

“I’m living on this planet,” Huffington said.

“What you’re saying, has no relationship to the truth,” Cheney insisted. “Your assertion that Halliburton defrauded the U.S. government… Arianna, it’s absolutely not true.”

“I’m so glad PolitiFact is going to be checking this,” Huffington said, smiling. “I’m so glad.”

Maybe it’s just me, but I thought I detected a bit of frustration/disgust from George Will when the discussion turned to the so-called “peace” flotilla brouhaha when Kos tried to flex his intellectual, albeit atrophied, muscle on the subject of Israel protecting herself against her enemies. It quickly turned into a tag-team on Kos between George and Liz, and they turned him into a sniveling puddle.

The sophistry displayed on the left side of the table here was clearly evident throughout, and I rather enjoyed it.

Peacock Huffy seemed so proud to utter the words “Bush-Cheney” and “Halliburton” in front of Liz, as if she thought she would melt at the mere utterance of the words. In reality, Arianna came off looking like a fool for doing so, and Will basically told her so in not so many words.

Beck Unravels the Tangled Webs of Goldman Sachs & Climate Change Deceit (VIDEOS)

Today, Glenn unraveled the tangled web of deceit that is Goldman Sachs, the climate change pseudo-religion, Al Gore, and the current attempt at financial regulation by the hypocritical politicians in Congress. Remember, don’t look at what THIS hand is doing.. pay attention to the other one.

Folks, this corruption goes wide, deep and long, and we’d all better wake up before it’s too late. I for one don’t want to live under this current regime much longer, but we must stand strong and speak out. This is the ultimate in sleight-of-hand trickery, and we should not fall for it. Tell your neighbors, your friends and family, and make sure we all stay involved.

Not Racist,
Not Violent, just
No Longer Silent…

California Farmers vs. Eco-Whackos – Stop The Government-Induced Drought! (VIDEO)

Tucker Carlson was in tonight for Sean Hannity, and he was discussing the plight of California farmers, who have had their water supply cut off to their farms. Why? Becomes some environmental whackos value the 2″ “delta smelt” fish over CA farmers feeding their families, as well as all American families. TURN THE WATER BACK ON, OBAMA!

California has let this sore fester, and Sean has been talking about it for a long time. Over the weekend, “60 Minutes” did a segment on it, but California Representative Devin Nunes of the San Joaquin Valley said the “60 Minutes” special was 75% about Gov. Schwarzenegger and not specifically about the farmers’ plight.

Can someone please tell me why we give more of a damn about a 2″ fish over California families? It really is the land of ‘fruits and nuts,’ ain’t it?
