Peter Singer & Noam Chomsky on Bioethics of Terminating Life (VIDEO)

***WARNING – GRAPHIC VIDEO***

I don’t know if this will make it past the LL censors, (it didn’t, but it’s still embedded as a video here) but I have to post this because Peter Singer has close ties to the Obama administration, and his views along with Noam Chomsky’s are distressing at best; diabolical at worst.

I’ll let you watch and be the judge whether or not it’s okay to contemplate terminating the life of a 3-year-old, or euthanizing a person who’s elderly. Quite shocking indeed.

Glenn Beck: Ask Bold Questions About What’s Possible (VIDEO)

Today, Glenn took a hard look at what can happen in cases where crises occur, and rationing is necessary merely by “allocation” of services. Beck made no bones about it that he’s not saying some of these things will happen, but that we must ask ourselves the tough questions like “could this happen?” “is it possible?”

If you never have these conversations with your family and loved ones, you will never be prepared for the “possible.”

People will snark about this, call him a “fear-monger” among other things, and mock him for his true emotion, but I myself ask you this one simple question: Did you ever at any point in your lifetime think that there would come a day that people had to protest en masse to stop socialized medicine in this country? You didn’t? Well it’s time to start asking the bold questions of our elected officials.

We can no longer remain apathetic – we have to care….we MUST care, or there will be no one to blame but ourselves.

Beck on Dr. Ezekiel Emanual on “The Complete Lives System” (VIDEO)

Last week, Glenn Beck brought out the position of one of Obama’s health care advisors, Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel (Rahm’s brother) on ‘end of life’ care. This goes in all kinds of crazy directions like eugenics, euthanasia, AARP, ACORN and “The Complete Lives System.”

Folks, this is just plain frightening. If Beck is wrong, he can be sued for libel and/or slander. What does he have to gain from talking about these things? He doesn’t – except for the fact that he cares about Americans. As do I.

Soylent Green anyone?

Beck Vs. AARP Spokesman On Supporting ObamaCare (VIDEO)

Today on the show, Glenn had on AARP Spokesman David Certner to defend his group’s alignment with the Obamacare plan, when it’s been overtly shown to completely throw seniors under the “end-of-life-care” bus. Certner says that that’s NOT what he sees in the Obamacare program, but when confronted with statistics about AARP membership declining exponentionally lately, how can Certner deny what HR 3200 truthfully says?

Why even the most recent guidelines on who should get the H1N1 flu shot COMPLETELY ignores anyone over the age of 65! Does anyone doubt for one second why the majority of the folks at the local townhalls recently, screaming and berating their representatives, are seniors? This “end-of-life” bullshit discussion is nothing more than “well, if you’re at age XX, you don’t merit anything more than palliative treatment (i.e., pain meds) as opposed to more expensive surgical procedures.

This, my friends, is coming so closely and eerily to things that were previously thought to be only science fiction – yet, how far-fetched are things like “Soylent Green” seeming to us now? Inch by inch, move by move, until it is accepted in our culture to deny senior citizens care because they are expendable. Who in the hell in this government has the moral or ethical right to make these decisions? This whole thing scares the bejesus out of me, as it should all seniors in this country.

Outrageous indeed – and it’s not “humane” in any way.

Sarah Palin Resigns But Declares to Continue Working for America (VIDEO)

Today Sarah Palin announced that not only would she not run for office again in 2010, but she’s officially handing over the reins of the governorship to Lt. Gov. Parnell effective July 26th.

For those who underestimate Sarah, they do so at their own peril. We have seen no other politician like her, and that is not a bad thing; it is truly a good thing, so her announcement today is not a negative in my book. She realizes the frivolous complaints by the weak, whiny libs from the DNC were unnecessarily costing Alaska too much money, so she’s stepping aside to have more political clout from outside the political box.

You go, Sarah. More people support you than you know, and the reason why you were attacked so much is because people fear you. I say that’s a good thing, and a sign you’re doing something right.
