Should America Fear Islam? HELL YEAH! (VIDEOS)

Last Sunday on “This Week with Christianne Amanpour,” the title of the show was called “Should the West Fear Islam?” Now, she could have just stopped it at that and spared the audience from a one-hour show of America-bashing Islamopologies. The obvious answer to the show’s questions is a simple “yes,” but there was one nugget in the show that really explained the truth.

Panelists on the show included Rev. Franklin Graham, evangelical leader; Robert Spencer, founder of Jihad Watch and co-founder of Stop the Islamization of America; Ground Zero Mosque co-founder Daisy Khan; Ayaan Hirsi Ali, and other scholars and families of 9/11 victims. Rev. Graham and Spencer were both outspoken about the evils of Islam, as was former Muslim, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, reporting via satellite, probably for her safety’s sake. You see, the wonderful, peace-loving, serene religion of Islam has issued many Fatwas against her, for which she has 24-hour security protection. Remember the Dutch filmmaker, Theo van Gogh? When he was killed by an Islamofascist, a knife was plunged into his chest, pinning to it a note to Ali saying she was next. Van Gogh produced a movie Ali starred in called “Submission” about the oppression of women under Islamic Sharia law.

One particularly enlightening exchange came from co-founder of an organization called Islam4UK, Anjem Choudary, who was speaking via satellite from London. It was Choudary who provided the clarity that answered the question en toto. Here are the three segments from the show interspersed in this partial transcript:

AMANPOUR: Let me just say stop you there for a second, because this side is obviously the side that says one shouldn’t fear and that there are moderates and the whole religion should not be painted with the same brush. I want to, though, now go to Anjem Choudary in London. You have said that you think there should be Islamic domination. Why shouldn’t people be afraid of that?

CHOUDARY: Well — well, let me just say that Islam has a solution for all of the problems that mankind faces. If you want to live at peace with Muslims, we are quite willing to live at peace with you. But let us remember that history did not begin on 9/11. Before 9/11, the Americans — the American government bombed Sudan and Afghanistan. They were supporting the pirate state of Israel. So 9/11 was a reaction. You know, I think that we need to get away from the stereotyping. And this idea that you have moderate Muslims and you have radical Muslims, you know, it’s complete nonsense. A Muslim is the one who submits to the command of the creator. If he submits, he is a practicing Muslim. If he is not, then he should be practicing.

DAISY KHAN: I have to disagree with him, because Islam is a religion of pluralism that embraces all religions and it also embraces different interpretations. This is why we have so many schools of thought. What Anjem is talking about is an exclusivist view of Islam, which is my way or the highway. And my interpretation is the only interpretation—

CHOUDARY: It’s very easy for people to justify the fact that they’re not practicing. I mean, this lady in your studio, she should be covering with the hijab. She’s obviously not practicing —

CHOUDARY: There are many people who are justifying — there are many people who are justifying the inability to practice the Sharia, to say, “Well, I have a different form of religion.” You know, people want to claim that they’re vegetarians and they’re eating big beef burgers. You can not be a non-practicing vegetarian. Therefore, similarly, if you’re a Muslim, you submit to the Sharia.

FRANKLIN GRAHAM: He’s telling the truth.

AMANPOUR: You see, Reverend Graham says you’re telling the truth. So, do you agree with Reverend Graham and our panelists on this side that Americans should fear Islam?

CHOUDARY: we do believe, as Muslims, the East and the West will one day be governed by the Sharia. Indeed, we believe that one day, the flag of Islam will fly over the White House. Indeed, there’s even an oration of the Prophet where he said, “The day of judgment will not come until a group of my oma… — ”

DONNA MARSH O’CONNOR: Can I just — ?

CHOUDARY: “Conquer the White House.”

Rev. Graham got it right – Choudary was telling the truth.

Questions: Why did Amanpour seem to recoil at that revelation? And why did she move along away from it without asking more probing followup questions? The answer is very simple, and obvious to those who are familiar with Amanpour’s work. Amanpour is pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel, and is a known apologist for Islam and Jihad. I also think she only had Ali on as a token, because she sure didn’t give her much airtime.

Why this woman was given the “This Week” show is beyond me. I’ve read the ratings have plummeted since she started anchoring the Sunday show, so she probably did this particular one for ratings…and to have another opportunity to shill for Islam on TV. Honestly, they should have just left Jake Tapper in place because “This Week” was really a good show with him at the helm. I and many others have told him so via Twitter and email.

I also think Amanpour (and ABC, by default) missed the best opportunity of all time (or perhaps it was intentional) to have the pre-eminent scholar on Islam to be a guest on the show. Who is that? Nobody knows the history and absolute truths about Islam better than Steve Emerson. Amanapour probably knew better than to invite him because he would have wiped the floor with all of the Islam apologists on the set. Perhaps she invited him and he turned her down? We’ll never know, but it would have been a much more fair show in exposing the unvarnished truths about Islam, and to answer the question “should America fear Islam?” with an absolute, resounding “YES!”

Imam Faisal Abdul Rauf Reiterates Threat to West to Amanpour on ‘This Week’ (VIDEO)

Not content to threaten the West, on the Larry King show, with backlash from the Muslim world if they move the Park 51 Ground Zero Mosque, Imam Faisal Abdul Rauf appeared with Christiane Amanpour this morning on ABC’s “This Week” Sunday program to make the same threat. If he and his Ground Zero mosque backers do agree to move the location, then that will be seen in the Muslim world as Islam being under attack in the West; most notably, the United States. You can read the transcript here.

Hey, Rauf. Guess what? Islam IS under attack in the United States, and it’s because you and your filthy dogs of Islam brought the first attacks to us, you douchebag! Keep threatening your bull$hit and you’ll just cement the will of the American people, that we will not tolerate creeping Sharia, and we will NOT submit to Islam! If you don’t like it here, then get the hell out.

Brigitte Gabriel on Hannity Discussing the Ground Zero Mosque (VIDEO)

Brigitte Gabriel, president of ACT! for America and author of ‘They Must Be Stopped‘ appeared on Hannity’s show last night to discuss the polls regarding President Obama’s religion, as well as the plans for the Ground Zero Mosque. Gabriel is joined in the discussion by FOX News Contributor Pat Caddell.

If anyone can shed light into the beliefs of Islam, it’s Ms. Gabriel. She’s been there, done that, and is proud to be away from it.

The Flawed Logic of the Lawsuits Against Arizona’s S.B. 1070

We’ve all heard about the Obama administration’s (DOJ) lawsuit against S.B. 1070, the one by the Phoenix Police Officer, the ACLU’s lawsuit, among several others. But each particular lawsuit is inherently flawed for fairly different reasons.

The DOJ suit is playing the supremacy clause card, stating the Feds have plenary jurisdiction over creating and enforcing immigration laws. If this is the case, why do municipal and state police also enforce drug laws? Is the DEA supreme in creating and enforcing illegal drug laws? No, I don’t think so. What about bank robbery? That’s a federal crime. Are local and state cops not allowed to arrest bank robbers? Of course they are. Illegal firearms? All the cops I know arrest folks for illegal possession of weapons all the time, even though there’s an ATF. Honestly, the DOJ is acting like Illegal Immigration laws are the only federal laws on the books. If this is their reasoning, I’d have to say their agenda is different; they just can’t state it out loud.

Phoenix Police Officer, David Salgado, joined with the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) for his lawsuit. They are claiming, as the DOJ is, that S.B. 1070 was pre-empted by federal law. However, his other reason is that he believes the new law would violate plaintiffs’ First and Fourth Amendment rights. The First Amendment issue makes no sense to me, because how does this law infringe upon anyone’s right to speech and/or assemble? As far as the Fourteenth Amendment rights go (“equal protection” clause), this could be claimed for any law on the books. Drug dealers claim this, prostitutes claim this, shoplifters claim this, and on and on, ad infinitum. I wonder if Officer Salgado has ever arrested any drug dealers, bank robbers, or any other kind of criminals that violate federal laws? By the way, Officer Salgado might want to clean up his own house before crying foul.

Tucson Police Officer, Martin Escobar, has his own individual lawsuit, claiming the law would force him to racially profile to enforce the law, thus violating the Fourth (unreasonable search and seizure) and Fifth Amendments (the right to not incriminate oneself, or the “due process” clause). That issue is addressed in the content of the law. The police cannot ask a person for their identification (or “papers, please,” as has been thrown around) unless they are already involved in a legitimate law enforcement contact. People are not going to be summarily plucked off the street for being OTC (other-than-Caucasian); that’s ludicrous on its face. Anybody who comes into contact with a police officer for legitimate law enforcement reasons is going to be asked for their ID (driver’s license), not their “papers.” This whole “papers, please” is a boondoggle to make people hearken back to the days of internment camps, political prisons, etc. It’s absolute nonsense. Beside, the same standard applies to Caucasians – “ID, please” when stopped by the police.

And one of the first suits brought after S.B. 1070’s passage was by D.C. Political Researcher, Roberto Frisancho, based on the unfounded belief that he will be “racially profiled” if he travels to Arizona this year. The racial profiling question has already been answered above, but I have a couple of suggestions for Mr. Frisancho: 1) Don’t go to Arizona this year, then you’ll have nothing to worry about; and 2) If you go to Arizona, don’t break any laws. How much more simple can it be than that? You’d think this would be a “class-action” suit, but no, it’s not. It’s just Mr. Frisancho. How pathetic can you be?

The others really are a composition of all the arguments previously addressed, but here you can see a graphic that explains all the current lawsuits in the pipeline.

Facts on the ground remain the same, as far as enforcement goes – Shariff Arpaio, with his awesome bad-self, is continuing to perform his raids and sweeps based on existing state law. So it seems to me, that this is all an exercise in futility for the plaintiffs in this case. I don’t know about you, but I’m about ready for a “loser pays” system. I’d like to see them pay Arizona’s legal fees when they lose these cases. If Arizona does not prevail, it will be a travesty of justice, but I think SCOTUS is probably chomping at the bit to get in on this action.

I say let’s get on with it.

P.S. I forgot to add my one main bitch about the opponents of this law: Every single damn one of them is presupposing that ALL cops everywhere are inherently racially-motivated just because of their jobs, and that without this state law in place, things would magically be different. Oh please.

The Brecht Forum: ‘Let’s Destroy the United States of America!’ (VIDEO)

Wow… just wow. Glenn introduced us to a fabulous new ‘social’ group today. They are all members of The Brecht Forum. Who are they you ask? The Brecht Forum website offers several neat-o commie options, touting the New York Marxist School. Amazing. Simply. Amazing. On their “About Us” page? Here’s the ‘fun’ stuff:

The BRECHT FORUM is a place for people who are working for social justice, equality and a new culture that puts human needs first. Through its programs and events, the Brecht Forum brings people together across social and cultural boundaries and artistic and academic disciplines to promote critical analysis, creative thinking, collaborative projects and networking in an independent community-level environment.

Jed Brandt, apparently a member of this communist group, goes on to tell us how he really feels about Capitalism and the United States of America.

Oh yeah… they’re going to TAKE our insurance companies, TAKE all the farms, and they will also SHUT DOWN the military apparatus of this country! (That last one will be real fun to watch. EPIC. FAIL.)

And about that New York Marxist School?

When people attempt to resolve the problems that plague everyday life and even threaten survival on this planet, from poverty, disease, discrimination and alienation to war, economic crisis and environmental devastation, they come face to face with difficult questions: Can society be changed significantly for the better? What kind of changes would be needed? and, Who could bring about such changes?

Questions like these are what motivated Karl Marx and Fredrick Engels to develop a method for studying the dynamics of change in societies.

In 1975, a group of civil rights, community, labor, and student activists came together to found the Brecht Forum’s New York Marxist School. They saw the study of marxism as central, not as a dogma but as a living current of thought and as a vital tool for understanding capitalist society. They believed that the study of our reality, an informed public, clear-headed reflection on our actions, and an open, and inclusive space for the exchange of experience and discussion and debate of ideas are all essential to the kind of movement we need if we want to create a better world..

Their collective vision combined with their commitment to the struggle for social transformation led them to develop a vital, non-sectarian institution that could offer serious study and discussion of social and political issues in a non-academic, community-level setting.

And according to their YouTube Channel:

The BRECHT FORUM is a place for people who are working for social justice, equality and a new culture that puts human needs first. Through its programs and events, the Brecht Forum brings people together across social and cultural boundaries and artistic and academic disciplines to promote critical analysis, creative thinking, collaborative projects and networking in an independent community-level environment.

Sounds like a SUPER fun group of folks to hang around with, doesn’t it? I’m going to have to do some more digging into this Jed Brandt character. Stay tuned, folks.
