I’m going to let this video speak for itself. Michelle is on to promote her book, “Culture of Corruption.” I’d like to see Tanya Reiman read this panel’s body language. Joy is absolutely apoplectic, and Sherri struggles to speak intelligently.
Yesterday on Beck’s show, he outlined clearly for us that Barack and Michelle have been telling us all along what their plan was for this country, and he backs it up with their own words. The saddest part? A lot of Americans didn’t pay attention and dismissed it as political-speak.
Shame on us for ignoring it. He was telling us EXACTLY what his plans were, and yet 52% of us elected him anyway? Talk about a teaching moment! Yet this comes at a very heavy price…hopefully one that we will be able to reverse before we lose our Republic.
Today Sarah Palin announced that not only would she not run for office again in 2010, but she’s officially handing over the reins of the governorship to Lt. Gov. Parnell effective July 26th.
For those who underestimate Sarah, they do so at their own peril. We have seen no other politician like her, and that is not a bad thing; it is truly a good thing, so her announcement today is not a negative in my book. She realizes the frivolous complaints by the weak, whiny libs from the DNC were unnecessarily costing Alaska too much money, so she’s stepping aside to have more political clout from outside the political box.
You go, Sarah. More people support you than you know, and the reason why you were attacked so much is because people fear you. I say that’s a good thing, and a sign you’re doing something right.
…that is, according to Ohio Congressman, Steven LaTourette’s documentation as he gives his Open Report today on the Hill, which was broadcast on C-SPAN. His Open Report was on the Chrysler bankruptcy, dealership liquidation, massive job loss, and he poses just a couple of questions: Who are these people on the Auto Task Force, and how were the decisions made?
The beginning of the video is fairly dull, but I implore you to stick with it. LaTourette outlines what happened and how Chrysler was intimidated, as reported previously by Ed Morrissey at Hot Air. The important part comes at the end: an email exchange between Matthew Feldman, attorney on the President’s Auto Task Force, and Robert Manzo, Chrysler restructuring expert. Manzo is basically pleading to further negotiate to prevent bankruptcy, but Feldman is having none of it. Here is the exchange:
Robert Manzo, Chrysler restructuring expert: “I hope you think it’s worth giving this one more shot.”
Matthew Feldman, attorney on the President’s Auto Task Force: “I’m now not talking to you. You went where you shouldn’t.”
Manzo: “Sorry. I didn’t mean to say the wrong thing and I obviously did. I was trying to make sure that if we had to contribute to the solution you knew we had some room. Sorry I did not realize the mistake!!”
Feldman: “It’s over. The President doesn’t negotiate second rounds. We’ve given and lent billions of dollars so your team could manage this properly….And now you’re telling me to bend over to a terrorist like Lauria? That’s B.S.”
Why is this information not being talked about? Why haven’t we heard about that email exchange? Why does the Obama administration consider Thomas Lauria a “terrorist?” Is it because Lauria was trying to just get a fair shake? Lauria is a Democrat!
A game of “Clue,” indeed. Who did what to whom and in which room? We know they used a hatchet, but I also want to know “who dunnit?” This administration is turning out to be the biggest of bullies that I’ve ever seen. Are we now living under old-time Mafia Dons? It sure feels like it.
Folks, at this point in time, nothing surprises me. It does, however, frighten me – as it should you. It is time to stand up and make your voices heard, lest you feel it’s appropriate this country should find itself on this downward spiral. Quite frankly, we are clearly approaching the last exit and need to get off this autobahn of fascism before we completely crash and burn.
