Help Support Our Veterans in Houston Retain Their Religious Freedom During Traditional Ceremonies (VIDEO)

Please share this with your friends. This is an abomination and we should be, as a nation, ashamed of ourselves if we can’t stop this PC mindlessness. From the “Don’t Tear Us Down” website:

Officials at the Houston National Cemetery have banned the VFW Honor Guards from performing the entire VFW burial ritual, which includes prayers and speeches by the Commander and Chaplain, which reference “God,” at military funerals.

If this doesn’t qualify as an outrage, then nothing does. Please go to their website and sign the petition. NOW! Also check out the other videos while you’re there.

Enough is enough!

This is unacceptable.  I know that the funerals that I attended, for my Soldiers, did include the Chaplain and did include prayer.  This sounds like a local commander who is making an issue because he is reading into the seperation of church and state.  That said, I read an MSNBC Poll that said the 86% of Americans support leaving the “In God We Trust” on the US Currency and leaving “One Nation Under God” in the pledge of allegiance.

Just what are the parts of the “traditional VFW funeral ritual” and to which parts, specifically, did the VA cemetery director object?
