Animal Rights Activist Gets Lassoed And Dragged By Rodeo Riders (VIDEO)

So call me callous, but this is hysterical. h/t LiveLeaker Porcelain-Forehead

A 17-year-old is lassoed and dragged off by a horseman after she and other animal rights activists entered a corral to protest against the Chilean Rodeo Federation.

The federation’s director “regretted what happened, but at the same time justified the attitude of the riders.

W00T, COWBOYS! That’s what I call ‘just desserts.’

It’s Not Your Seat, Lisa! (VIDEO)

I made this video from an audio file & pic, h/t Hillbuzz. Check the end credits for the original audio author.

Really, Lisa Murkowski, er, ah, I mean LeNa JaBrowski, you should stop being a crybaby who feels entitled to her seat on the throne. The time for political royalty in America is OVER, and it’s time for some new blood… like Joe Miller, Sarah Palin, and Christine O’Donnell.

Dang, I mean, even her face looks like she’s chewing on some sour grapes!

‘The Forgotten Man’ by Jon McNaughton (VIDEO)

I found this gem online last night. Instant fan of McNaughton? You betcha! From the YouTube video:

What has President Obama done? Visit McNaughton Art.

Against the background of a darkening sky, all of the past Presidents of the United States gather before the White House, as if to commemorate some great event. In the left hand corner of the painting sits a man. That man, with his head bowed appears distraught and hopeless as he contemplates his future. Some of the past Presidents try to console him while looking in the direction of the modern Presidents as if to say, “What have you done?” Many of these modern Presidents, seemingly oblivious to anything other than themselves, appear to be congratulating each other on their great accomplishments. In front of the man, paper trash is blowing in the wind. Crumpled dollar bills, legislative documents, and, like a whisper—the U.S. Constitution beneath the foot of Barack Obama.

Check out the other pieces of his work here.

Massachusetts Public School Students Learn to Pray to Allah (VIDEO)

h/t The Blaze & from YouTube user apeacet:

In late May of 2010, Wellesley, Massachusetts public middle school students took a field trip to the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center – a controversial Saudi-funded mega-mosque run by the Muslim American Society of Bostn. There, the students were separated by gender and the boys were asked to join the Muslim adults in their prayer. Several of the public school boys took part.

How much longer will we allow garbage like this to continue? Can you imagine a public school even THINKING about sending kids to an afternoon Bible School or any kind of Christian Revival? Are you kidding me?

Army Capt. Scotty Smiley on With Megyn Kelly – “Hope Unseen” (VIDEO)

Today on FNC’s America Live, Megyn Kelly had Army Capt. Scotty Smiley and his wife Tiffany on the show to talk about his truly heroic story, from tragedy to triumph. You see, Capt. Smiley is making history – he’s the first ever totally blind Soldier to serve on active duty. If this lovely couple doesn’t give you hope, then you have no feelings.

Here’s a bit from his bio:

Captain Scotty Smiley, a Ranger and combat-diver qualified infantryman, was the Army’s first active-duty, blind officer and its first blind company commander. On April 6, 2005, he lost use of both eyes when a suicide car bomber blew himself up thirty meters in front of Scotty’s Stryker vehicle. Since that day, Scotty Smiley has surfed in Hawaii, skied in Vail, skydived, climbed Mount Rainier, completed a triathlon, and graduated from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business with his MBA. The Army Times named Captain Smiley its Soldier of the Year in 2007, and in 2008 he won an ESPY as the world’s Best Outdoor Athlete. Scotty, a recipient of the Bronze Star and Purple Heart, recently taught the core course in leadership at West Point and now commands the Warrior Transition Unit at West Point’s Keller Army Medical Center.

I would encourage anyone who is interested in his story to get his book “Hope Unseen.” I can’t wait to get it and read it myself. If Capt. Smiley can, with faith and love, get through all the battles of his life, none of the rest of us has any room to complain. He proves that no matter what, we can all come through the worst life offers, and really make the best of it.
