Well, well, well… Obama finally took Spike Lee’s suggestion to “go off” on BP, and he’s apparently done it in an interview with the Today Show. Click the image to watch.
Now remind me again what all the hullabaloo was about George Bush using incendiary language when he tallked about bin Laden being taken “dead or alive” and “you are either with us or against us“? I know everybody’s feeling all righteously indignant about this whole Gulf mess, but can you imagine the wailing and gnashing of teeth if it were Bush that would have said this AS President of The United States?
Secondly, why can’t Obama seem to get this worked up about the radical Islamic jihadists who are intentionally trying to hurt us? After all, this BP mess in the Gulf was an accident – it’s not as if BP intentionally created this disaster, but radical Islam is PURPOSELY trying to kill us! Why is there not the same level of anger directed at that enemy? “Swift justice,” I suppose, only applies to those evil, greedy corporations or profiteers who prey on innocent poor people. Wouldn’t want any “swift justice” at all with Al Qaeda now, would we?

This was wonderful to see. Sandra Bullock, honored by our troops as their Entertainer of the Year on Spike TV, and she was so gracious with her acceptance. This is why we love Sandra… she’s a true class act. Quite a contrast to the crap that was on MTV last night.
She wowed the crowd in studio, for sure. She is so funny, and did I mention how absolutely stunningly beautiful she is, too? Too bad Hollywood at large couldn’t take a cue from this woman.
Today on Beck’s show, he was discussing the unrest and panic in Europe over economic issues, as well as troubles that are headed for our own shores (if not here already).
Folks, we are broke. We don’t have any more money. We need to start living within our means, not just in government, but also in our own lives. Now, I know a lot of you are going to slam Beck for asking people to believe in him and believe in God, but I want you to pay attention to the rest of the clip – Glenn is only repeating words of others commenting on the state of the global economic woes we all face.
You cannot tell me that Glenn’s the crazy one any more. Well, yeah you can, but if you’re really sincere, just watch it with objective eyes. Don’t pay attention to Glenn; pay attention to the words of those he quotes, as well as the numbers that are discussed regarding how much countries and economies owe themselves and each other. Unfortunately this Australian comedy duo nails it on the head, but it’s not comedy – it’s stark reality.
And for those of you who say Glenn IS crazy on the issue of politicians and labor unions playing us against each other, please take a step back and think about what has been going on around us lately.
My eyes are open and have been opening for a while, and it’s not entirely from what Beck has said or done. What Beck talked about today regarding the unions playing us against each other is so true. It is not our battle to have, but unfortunately, it’s being waged anyway with our confiscated money.

This was hilarious… was from the pre-MTV Movie Awards show “Jersey Shore.” Snookie’s boyfriend was giving her a 3rd layer of a spray tan, and Snookie said she’s sworn off “tanning-tanning” because of Obama’s 10% tax on it. She goes on to opine that McCain wouldn’t have done it because he needs a tan.
Oh, and she also thinks Obama created the tan tax “intentionally for us.” Huh? Who is “us?” The Jersey Shore cast? LOL. Talk about an inflated sense of self-importance!
