Yesterday saw the continuation of the tired effort by the MSM and the progressives, comparing the Tea Party movement to Timothy McVeigh bombing the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City in 1995. This is so outrageous and unbelievable, but I suppose these same leftists conveniently forget about the movie made about the assassination of President Bush and all the other crap the left did during the his administration.

On Meet the Press, David Gregory compared Michele Bachmann’s using the term “gangster government” to the actions of Timothy McVeigh. I’m an Okie myself, and lived through that event. Believe me there is NOTHING even close in comparison between these two events or movements. Gregory is way off base and should be called out on it; as should the rest of the politicians and public figures who are using that equivalency to bolster their own views.

I guess if you can’t explain the Tea Party movement, you must resort to using the most vile things with which to compare it. Lame… really lame.
