Funny how Barbara didn’t talk to her other guests like this – combative, almost. Hey O’Reilly…get Tonya Reiman on this segment! I noticed Barbara looked up and to the right a LOT! Wanna know what her body language said (aside from the obvious disdain).
Today, the CEO of the National Black Chamber of Commerce, Harry Alford, was on Glenn’s show to discuss the recent “jobs” summit, the role of small businesses in the current economy, and his take on how big labor is “carpet-bagging” minority-dominant big cities. But the clip starts out with a replay of Alford totally OWNING Barbara Boxer in a hearing for her attempt at lumping him with the NAACP and other black organizations. Mr. Alford didn’t quite take too kindly to being lumped in with that lot, and he made his displeasure known to her.
If you’ve been paying any attention lately, SEIU is neck-deep in a kissy-face relationship with Barack Obama and his administration. And Andy Stern, their leader, has so much influence with Obama that apparently they are able to have the lion’s share of influence over the healthcare reform legislation. “Workers of the world unite!” How is this happening? How are 2 million union members able to over-ride the rest of us?
Well, this is just one of the many topics Glenn tackled today in a segment for which I had a couple of alternative titles: “Beck: We’re in Opposite World,” or “Beck Begs Americans to Wake the F*** Up!” Oh, well, I think the message will get across either way.
Democrat Strategist, Pat Caddell, appeared on Glenn Beck’s show and they talked about the recent poll that showed 71% of Americans are ANGRY at the government and politicians in general. Caddell, former advisor to President Carter, said this current administration and Congress are greedy and blind, and that they ignore the folks at their own peril – it’s clear the folks are mad as hell, and the time is coming where we are going to have to take it to the Hill!
Beck posed the question as to why the politicians are seemingly deaf to us, and Pat says that they just don’t care; they don’t give a damn about what WE want, and that they have literal contempt for the people. He even referred to Cap-&-Trade as “Gangster Politics,” and I have to say I don’t disagree.
I don’t know about you, but I’m sick of behind lied to, and I know many folks like me; we’re mad as hell and we can’t take it anymore. STOP with the spending, corruption, and destruction of this Republic. And RESPECT THE FRICKIN’ CONSTITUTION – And I’m addressing BOTH Republicans and Democrats alike!
Wow. What a shocka! Yesterday Beck talked about ACORN’S self-investigation by…ACORN’s ‘advisory board.’ And surprise surprise…they found ACORN did nothing wrong or illegal in the undercover prostitute sting tapes shot by novice filmmakers Hannah Giles and James O’Keefe.
I was as surprised as Glenn was. /sarc
By the way… that dude who is the CEO of “ACORN Housing” certainly does resemble a beardless Bertha, doesn’t he? Heh.
