Beck & Stu on New Disinformation Czar, Linda Douglass (VIDEO)

Beck & his producer, Stu, provided a humorous angle on the new “Disinformation Czar” at the White House. You know, that Linda Douglass woman whose new job is to encourage citizens to forward ANY “fishy” emails they receive from friends, or web postings they encounter that might indicate any “disinformation” about the Obamacare plan, they should send that information directly to the White House at flag@WhiteHouse.gov. She’s apparently the gate-keeper of all things disparaging of Obama’s plans. That by itself indicates to me that they’re on hyperdrive regarding sensitivity (i.e. opposing views) on issues for any of Obama’s directives, and controlling the message comes at the highest cost.

Since when did we become a nation of snitches? Who at the “flag” address will keep or store this information? Will it be kept indefinitely? Who knows. I do know, however, that if it had been George W. Bush who suggested this, we’d never hear the end of it from the likes of Joy Behar or Bill Maher. But with Obama (whom I call B-Ho), it’s apparently a different standard. Ah, s’aight. No biggie… it’s all for the collective greater good.

Yeah, right. Sign me up! /sarc

P.S. Stu, you DON’T look good in drag. However, you were more attractive than Linda Douglass. That in and of itself is scary. YIKES!

we became a nation of snitches after 9/11 and with good reason. our government told us to be on the lookout for those trying to damage our country and hurt our citizens. we reported suspicious behavior, especially by those non-white folk. You must be the only the political group who thought this policy would never come back to bite you on the you-know-what.

I totally agree how “sensitive” our leaders have become. It's also funny, how during the years 2000-08 that i clearly remember how sensitive President Bush was. Let's review some facts-

President Bush only allowed pre-selected audience members into his audiences.

President Bush only allowed pre-selected questions to be asked.

Anyone with a bumper sticker, t-shirt, sign or anything else not supporting President Bush was denied entrance to public forums or escorted out by Secret Service if they had made it inside.

President Bush created “free speeech zones” located over a quarter mile away from where the president was speaking.

    These are REPUBLICAN POLICIES.

Since President Bush was such a great American, Obama should enact these same policies. Somehow I doubt you would like that and you would be the first to cry about your free speech being denied. Again, how you did not realize this could be used against YOU someday really puts things in perspective when trying to have an intelligent exchange of ideas.

So until our current President goes beyond these Bush established practices, on behalf our of proud nation- Quit Your Whining and enjoy the OBAMA ADMINISTRATION RESTORING YOUR RIGHT TO FREE SPEECH IN PUBLIC FORUMS.

Michelle Obama took her kids out for cheeseburgers. I can understand the Secret Service watching the cook making the food. I would expect no less. But, can you explain why it would be necessary to take the cellphones from other patrons?

    1) Secret Service guarding the “PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES” and the “FAMILY OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.

    2) Union thugs “guarding” a member of congress at an open to the public Townhall meeting.

Can you see where I'm going with this?

One more thing. If you're going to make an “i clearly remember how sensitive President Bush was” kind of statement…bring proof. Otherwise I'll just have to “Hope” that your memory hasn't “Changed” in the past 8 months.

    mark,

And, If you're going to make an “i clearly remember how sensitive President Bush was” kind of statement…bring proof. Otherwise I'll just have to “Hope” that your memory hasn't “Changed” in the past 8 months.

And FYI, for MOST people, there is a BIIIIIIIIIIIIG difference between letting the authorities(snitching) know about someone who wants to kill them…and someone who is questioning a bill put forth by the government.
