SYTYCD – A Tribute to Breast Cancer Fighters (VIDEO)

Wow…all I can say about this piece is just wow. Tonight on So You Think You Can Dance, Ade and Melissa performed a beautiful Tyce DiOrio routine to “A Woman’s Work,” about a woman suffering from breast cancer and a friend who helps her through it. As Mia Michaels said, this was a great “portrait” of the struggle.

To all of you out there who know someone who is fighting cancer, who is fighting cancer themselves, or who lost someone to cancer, this is such a moving piece and I hope you feel the emotion I did when watching this.

Whether or not Ade nor Melissa win this season, I don’t think it matters – the story of those battling breast cancer or any other type of cancer is worth telling and embracing with love.

Thank you so much for posting this. My older sister battled and beat breast cancer and my mom is currently going through treatment.

    Tyce really got me tonight.

Excellent piece. I lost my wife to cancer 8 years ago this month. She was so brave through it all that I am often ashamed of the way I handle my relatively minor health problems.

You're to be commended for the meaningful videos you post.

    Thanks…
