One year after Tony’s passing, Fox & Friends gave him a fitting tribute on the weekend show. God, take care of Tony Snow and bring him into the fold of Your loving arms. We all miss Tony, but we know there is a greater purpose You have for him.
God bless Tony and his family, and our prayers are with he and his family.
Hi, guys. Work has been grueling lately and I’ve been bringing it home, so I’m posting when I can. I have several videos that I culled from various shows, but I may not get a chance to edit and post them until this weekend. Please hang in there… I’ve not gone anywhere.
Okay, this isn’t that big a deal, but I GUARANTEE you if this were Sarah Palin, Mitt Romney, George Bush, or any other Republican, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, DailyKos etc., would be running this in LOOPS 24/7. So, you know what? Turnabout is fair play. Obama recently tripped entering some building overseas, but I only saw it this once on TV. Do y’all remember how many times we saw the video of Bush trying to exit the false door on the stage in China?
Well, not only did we see that clip over and over on the news media outlets, but it played over and over on the late night talk shows, The View, The Daily Show, Colbert Report, and countless of hundreds of other shows. So guess what? I’m creating this FUNNY-AS-HELL video loop of Obama tripping over the door frame or a rug, whatever it was, and I’m going to post it on my blog at least twice a month.
It’s only fair, right? If you don’t like it, understand that right off the bat I don’t give a damn if you like it or not. And yes, you may say it is petty, but again, I don’t care – the left has done this for years to GW, Gerald Ford and other Republicans, so all I have to say to you in this instance is SUCK IT! I’M LAUGHING WHETHER YOU ARE OR NOT!
Your Pop Idol, Barack Obama, tripped and was not his usual suave self, so this is my time to showcase it. And trust me, I reserve the right to use this anytime in the future when any conservative is ridiculed for being clumsy. Just remember you have no constitutional right to NOT be offended.
Recently on Fox News, Major Garrett challenged Barack Obama for not mentioning America as playing the major role in ending the Cold War. As you all know, Obama’s been on an apology tour across the world, taking blame for everything evil that has happened, but refusing to take credit for all the good America has done. This is the case in this instance, and Garrett wants to know if the sensitivities are such with the Russians that he can’t bring himself to even hint that the United States of America was key to bringing about the end to the Cold War.
Mr. Obama keeps his usual path, and spreads the “accolades around” (much like the wealth, to those who don’t deserve it) to make sure no one country or military entity can take majority credit. Barack simply refuses to acknowledge American exceptionalism, and for the life of me, I can’t understand why more people don’t see this. He’s not only trying to “level the playing field” here at home on social issues, he’s also trying to “level the playing field” across the globe, giving everyone equal credit for everything good than has happened in recorded history, regardless of who’s made the most sacrifices to achieve that good.
This stupid defeatocrat is going to get all of us killed, and there will no longer be a superior country to which the rest of the world can count on to stand up for them in the face of unapologetic global bullies. Obama voters are the scourge of this society, and it is not hard to recognize; that is, unless of course, you don’t walk through life with your eyes closed.
Last week, Sean Hannity sat down with the director, Cyrus Nowrasteh, of the break-out movie “The Stoning of Soraya M” out now in limited release. It was only available here at one theater in the Atlanta metro, but has since disappeared. I can only hope it comes back in wider release, and I will encourage all my friends to go see this painfully true depiction of the horrors that women in Iran go through on a disturbingly routine basis.
Please encourage your local theaters to bring this movie to your city. I think the fact that a lot of areas are denying its showing is very telling of exactly how impactful this true story is. Some folks don’t want to see it because they say it is too gruesome, but I say that is EXACTLY why they SHOULD view it. Some on the con-side say that it’s only gratitutious brutality to further a negative “stereotype” of Iranian culture, but those few are slowly being drowned out by people who know the truth about this reality.
Do you think that for one second if the movie “The Stoning of Soraya M.” involved US Servicemen perpetrating the brutality, there would be ANYTHING in its way trying to stop it? That would not happen. In fact, the hue and cry would be TO show it on as many theater screens as possible, as it fits the Hollywood liberal agenda that America is bad but everyone else is good and just.
This is just one more reason why I want all Americans and westerners abroad, even, to have access to and be able to see this very important film.
Hi… please forgive the appearance of my site. I have a tag somewhere in the code that is wreaking havoc, and until I can find it, my site is all caddywampus on me. Please bear with me as I work to correct it.
Listen…I’m no fan of Obama, and like Mark Levin, I’d vote for a can of orange juice before I’d vote for Obama in 2012. Somewhere along the way, just because our president is black, videos like this are becoming more mainstream and more acceptable on YouTube and other sites, and it should not be.
This is tastleless to the n’th degree, but if it’s okay for black people to do this, how is anything ANY of the Republican candidates do remotely deemed racist at all?
If this country ever truly wants to progress and become a more civilized nation, why is trash like this even tolerated? I’m not asking for this garbage to be censored, but I’d love to see at least SOME condemnation of things like this to be more prevalent. Can we please all agree this is unacceptable in a civilized world? You cannot condemn one group of people for being allegedly “racist” while simultaneously approving of another group of people for creating videos such as this, villifying a single race of people in the process of glorifying the creators of these videos? One need only search certain terms on YouTube to find thousands of videos like this one. And they’re all equally disgusting.
What say you, Eugene Robinson, Goldie Taylor, Donna Brazile, Marc Lamont Hill, etc., etc.? I’m waiting for you all to openly condemn videos like this on YouTube. If you don’t, then I have no reason to listen to your small and petty complaints of racism from Fox News, Republicans as a whole, and GOP candidates in the 2012 primary. Your silence about videos like this are tacit approval of them.
As is said in many places, “hilarity ensues” (h/t Mediaite):
Frances Martel does a fabulous write-up about it, and I couldn’t have said it any better, so here it is direct from the Mediaite post:
“Are you offended?” O’Reilly asked Harpootlian, who replied that he was not, but that he found the fact that Republicans had “no outreach to African Americans” a problem “in a state where we have an African-American Republican Congressman.” “Adding insult to injury, this debate ignoring Martin Luther King’s birthday!” he added, which made O’Reilly ask who was ignoring the debate and why. The Republicans, Harpootlian replied, because “no one has raised any issue with Fox about it being appropriate or inappropriate.”
O’Reilly then asked whether there was a reason for this– namely, something that happened in 2008. Harpootlian did not remember what happened in 2008 (a Democratic primary debate on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day) and who sponsored it (the Congressional Black Caucus), which prompted several awkward seconds where Harpootlian was obviously caught flat-footed. With this development, O’Reilly then told him that, “by injecting race into this, you do a disservice.” Harpootlian finally replied, blaming Republicans for injecting race into the matter by calling this “the most important election since 1860.” “We in the South have a little different version of that election,” he noted, suggesting that talking to Southerners in such a way was a sort of dog whistle. O’Reilly disagreed and just asked Harpootlian to give it up, adding, “you’re getting killed here!”
Today on Neil Cavuto, radio talk show host and constitutional scholar, Mark Levin was on to discuss his new book, “Ameritopia.”
Levin’s previous book, “Liberty and Tyranny” was a best-seller, as was another book before that titled, “Men in Black.” “Liberty and Tyranny” is a must-read for anybody who wants to know how we got to the point where we are in America today.
I’ve been stewing on this and stewing on this figuring out the right way to convey how I feel about it, and I’ve been struggling with just the right words to describe my sentiment. I read a fabulous screed by Deebow over at BlackFive, but it wasn’t until I saw the headline in a Weekly Standard piece today that quoted Lt. Col. Allen West (R-FL) on this matter. I couldn’t have said it better myself:
‘Shut Your Mouth, War Is Hell’
Yes, you got that right. Congressman West has weighed in on this flap over the Marines taking a piss on dead Taliban terrorists, sending an email to the Weekly Standard, who got his permission to print what he said. Here’s a portion of his commentary:
“All these over-emotional pundits and armchair quarterbacks need to chill. Does anyone remember the two Soldiers from the 101st Airborne Division who were beheaded and gutted in Iraq?
“The Marines were wrong. Give them a maximum punishment under field grade level Article 15 (non-judicial punishment), place a General Officer level letter of reprimand in their personnel file, and have them in full dress uniform stand before their Battalion, each personally apologize to God, Country, and Corps videotaped and conclude by singing the full US Marine Corps Hymn without a teleprompter.
“As for everyone else, unless you have been shot at by the Taliban, shut your mouth, war is hell.”
I’m not even quite sure that what the Marines did was wrong, but since when in the hell did we become so indignant and self-righteously outraged about treating killers like they deserve to be treated? Sure, they probably shouldn’t have videotaped what they did, but who the hell cares? And don’t give me this “don’t stoop to their level” B.S. either. Until you have been in the shoes of our warriors, or our first responders (cops, firefighters, etc.), or, heck, even ever been a crime victim yourself, you have no idea what you would do, given the same circumstances.
