Can You Help Me Find a Decent Video-Hosting Site That’s Conservative Friendly?

Although I considered it only a backup for my videos on LiveLeak, I had yet another account disabled for TOS violations on YouTube. My first “warning” I received was for a video I posted titled “You Just Might Be a Liberal,” and I was “warned” it was flagged for offensive content and that my channel was being watched for future violations, and the video was yanked. Next I posted a very touching video from So You Think You Can Dance (seen in a previous post) that was an interpretive dance honoring those who are or have battled breast cancer. And voila, today my entire YouTube channel was shut down. I could green-arrow back and click on the SYTYCD video and the message was that it was disabled due to a copyright violation of Dick Clark Productions. So I did a search on YouTube for “SYTYCD” and the full term, and found thousands of videos from the show – all still live and available on YouTube.

So, my new Channel there now (TheRealMsU) will probably have no videos posted; I only created it so I can comment on other videos or post ones that particularly I believe are best for YouTube, or they won’t be there at all. I find YouTube’s video and channel disabling quite capricious and arbitrary, and that’s why I’ve despised them for so long. “TheRealMsU” is my 7th YT Channel, I believe, and I REFUSE to dedicate unnecessary time uploading videos there – the 340 vids I already had uploaded to my last channel (LadyCop212) are now lost in the ether. I can only pray I’ve got backups of them all on LiveLeak.

I HATE YOUTUBE and its LIBERAL MODS! They played this B.S. game with big names like Michelle Malkin, and it took her much media pressure to be re-instated on YouTube, but I don’t have her clout nor patience. So I’m asking you, my loyal (as well as casual) readers….what video hosting site would you recommend for me to use? Please vote in this poll, or feel free to leave a suggestion in the comments. Your input is tremendously appreciated, as is your patronage to my blog.

So, please give me your input. YouTube has pissed me off for the last time, and I WON’T be going back unless it’s absolutely necessary! Thanks again for coming here.

  • I like popmodel, but when you embed their videos, they autostart, and that's a pain.
  • Really? They don't auto-start for me. Perhaps it's something in your
    personal settings. ???

I sent you an email a couple of days ago about a strange error message I get when I log in to your site:

"Safari can’t find the Internet plug-in.

The page “MsUnderestimated” has content of MIME type “application/x-shockwave- flash”. Because you don’t have a plug-in installed for this MIME type, this content can’t be displayed."

I got a hint from Breitbart's B-Cast today where you might get some help. The site is set up to help bloggers with tech problems.

  • Jim:

It won't do me any good to do anything on my side; it's a problem with
Safari. I found a forum, and this solution was validated by several of the
forum users. Try this on your Mac:
  • Thanks, Jim. I'll look into it this evening.

    Another option might be DailyMotion.

    Have you looked at eyeblast.tv?
  • No, but thank you for the suggestion. You're the 2nd one to suggest it. What
are their limitations? File size and time length? Do you know?

I would appreciate any inside info if you have any.

I can't check their Terms of Use now. Server is throwing up a 404 on the page.

Youtube sucks. The only reason I go there is so I can rip videos just before they get the liberal axe. As far as uploading vids I use Sevenload and haven't had any problems, but when I do I just upload those videos onto my site and use video software from flowplayer to play them. Bad thing about that is it eats up space, so I usually use it to upload videos that get banned from video sites. Good luck.

I've been getting the same message for a week or so when I log onto your site:

Safari can’t find the Internet plug-in.

The page “MsUnderestimated” has content of MIME type “application/x-shockwave- flash”. Because you don’t have a plug-in installed for this MIME type, this content can’t be displayed.

Is there anything I should do? The site works for me, but I don't like cryptic error messages.

I agree that YouTube is a bunch of insensitive liberal jerks. I resent they took down the ballet piece as I was enough impressed I wrote you about it. LiveLeak has worked okay for me, but whatever you need to do, good luck.
  • You're using Safarai as a browser, and you're getting that error just trying to view my blog? Or just the videos? I'm sorry you're getting the error, though.

LiveLeak has been the only real decent video site, but I didn't know if there might be others out there that were better and I just didn't know about them or what.

I loved the ballet piece, as well.

Let me know if there's anything I can ever do to make your experience more pleasant here.

I've been using VMDirect/HelloWorld for streaming. You see the videos like you would on a web hosting service...full upload/download rights. It does audio, and you can live broadcast, save and password protect your files, too. I can send you examples...On top of that, it generated embed and link code for use n your blog/site, just like the "big boys."
  • Can you give me more info on the VMDirect/HelloWord thing? You can send me an email at MsUnderestimated@gmail.com if you want to send me some stuff.

    I welcome your input.
