SNL’s Scary Yet On-Target Parody of PrezBO’s Power Grab (VIDEO)

This would be funny if it weren’t such an accurate portrayal.

Best impression of PresBO I’ve seen.

Spot on. It's good to know SNL is not giving a total pass to the new president.

Looks like Richard Poplawski kicked off your “revolution” this weekend. Poplawski feared “the Obama gun ban that's on the way” and “didn't like our rights being infringed upon.”

I wonder where he got that idea……

Fox News two weeks ago, Glenn Beck and the NRA's Wayne LaPierre insisted that Americans' 2nd Amendment rights are “under attack” from the Obama administration.

The right wing Pittsburgh Tribune-Review ran a story just three days ago about “speculation that President Obama might pull the trigger on tighter regulations for gun ownership.”

The bottom line is the gunman is repeating word for word what you, Beck, Bachmann, Malkin and other frustrated Republicans have been spouting. You certainly have the right to free speech but also the responsibility that comes with it. Not everyone is as stable as you and when you throw out these vague hints of “revolution” coming, this is what happens.

We have to assume you are thoughtful adults. Do you now see what happens when you don't choose your words carefully? Or should I say, when you choose your words carefully?

Three officers dead. Maybe you can explain to their families what you have been referring to for the past month when you throw the word revolution around as carelessly as Ms U, Beck, Malkin, Liddy, Savage etc have.

Hey “mark”, Poplawski was a Stormfront and Alex Jones fan who thought the jews run America. Perhaps you should ask those kooks instead of here, right?

I wonder if the individuals who wanted to assassinate The One in Turkey were part of the “revolution”. Maybe they were afraid he'd take their guns away, too. Maybe they were part of a larger conspiracy with Poplowski. Maybe Beck is part of the conspiracy and he's just probing to see what happens before he calls his “revolutionary army” together. I could go on and on.

You also have the responsibility to not lump everyone who watches Beck, or people who agree with him, with fools who use ANY excuse to justify their own twisted thoughts and actions…mark.

If you don't understand what I am saying I'll give you an example. The terrorists who hijacked the planes and crashed them into the Twin Towers. They came from various mideast countries. Should we have made glowing, unlivable glass parking lots of those countries?

you are avoiding admitting the truth. this site is a good example of frustrated americans convinced their country has been taken away from them and that “revolution” is the answer. i see that here on your site over and over. you have never said what “revolution” entails and i have pointed that out over the past few weeks. i have asked directly “does your revolution involve explosives?”

since day one, i have come to this site looking for specific ideas about how the republicans are going to regroup and win back the voters to their side. the majority of people here seem to think that they lost because the MSM only gives people one point of view and that conservatives were not conservative enough. as long as you continue to blame others for your loss of power, you will never regain it and that is a relief.

when a conservative guns down people while quoting Beck, you bet there is a connection to his words. freedom of speech carries responsibility. Beck was an inspiration to the gunman who killed three police officers in cold blood. No one is saying Beck shouldn't have freedom of speech but what we are saying is, stopped the veiled language and start using specifics so that people aren't misinterpreting your words and ideas.

over and over on this site i see references to “taking our country back”, but what does that actually mean? does your revolution involve organizing a march on washington? protests? registering people to vote? tea parties? what else? or does it involve inspiring the frustrated masses to take up arms and gun down people like the knoxville church shooter or this latest gunman. start delivering specifics and no one will be looking at you when someone guns someone down while quoting you word for word. the fact is, both of these gunman were arch-conservatives who were inspired by Beck, Malkin and others to take up arms and kill people.

Did you see how quickly Rep. Bachmann clarified her statements from last week about being armed and dangerous because of the shooting? Before the shooting it was “people need to be armed and dangerous” on the issue of cap-and-trade and she now says “I want them to be armed with knowledge, so they can be dangerous to the policies of the left.” Last week “the country was at the point of revolution”, but since the shooting she has clarified it to “make it absolutely clear that she was calling for people to organize against President Obama in the 2010 and 2012 elections.”

      We surround them.
      Revolution.
      Armed and dangerous.

It's time to tone down the rhetoric and start delivering specifics that leave no room for interpretation.

Hey mark, since you made such a big deal in previous posts about “Republican predictions” on the economy, go check out CNBC. Afterwards, come back and give us some more of your words(crap) of wisdom (blind leftist crap).

anything in particular i should look for there?

      • Lobogris

Try Soros. And then, since you're so into all-telling, truthful (because the press says they are) polls, check out MSNBC. And because I know you're going to ask. Look for poll.

Oh, I forgot. There's another “revolutionary” out there who killed his family. Maybe he watches Beck, too.

          fact.
