Maher Calls Out Glenn Beck As Crazy Who Could Incite the McVeighs of America (VIDEO)

Wow… just wow. Watching Real Time with Bill Maher tonight was a real trip. Guests were self-admitted socialist, Bernie Sanders (I)-VT; Andrew Ross Sorkin of the New York Times; Kerry Washington, Actress/Activist; and Keith Olbermann of MSNBC. We all know him well, don’t we?

The panel took on everyone you can imagine; nobody was safe from their wrath. They went after Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Rupert Murdoch, Roger Ailes, Fox News in general, Bernie Goldberg, and basically anyone else who is right of their beliefs.

Maher and Olbermann said that people like Rush and Beck could provoke people like Tim McVeigh to do violence, and they blame Roger Ailes and Rupert Murdoch for even hiring Beck. Maher said he worries about those “bitter clingers to their guns” that Obama spoke of in San Francisco.

Folks, I really wanted to transcribe this, but it would take me hours to do it – I just need to get this out there. So, here are just some thoughts that came across from the panel:

Maher: Right-wingers are more dangerous when they’re out of power. Glenn Beck is so powerful, or else he wouldn’t give him the time of day. He’s a kook and a creep, and has a wild imagination.

Maher: Tim McVeigh said it was this type of talking (Beck’s) that made him blow up the building in Oklahoma City.

Sorkin: Beck talked about FEMA concentration camps, so he’s nuts.

Olbermann: The guy who shot the pastor in the church in Tennessee said he did so because he was unable to kill all the liberals listed in Bernie Goldberg’s book.

Olbermann: Said he’s got nothing on Howard Beale compared to that guy (Beck). He’s a Father Codling (?) but with a crew cut. He (Beck) doesn’t even know what he’s saying.

Washington: If his crying and passion are not authentic, she wants to meet his acting coach.

Maher: Who is responsible are Roger Ailes & Rupert Murdoch, for putting Glenn Beck on the air.

Maher: Obama was right about right-wingers who are bitter and cling to their guns.

Washington: Beck is like a conservative Jerry Springer.

Washington: I love Pelosi because she got Republicans to vote for the 90% tax on AIG execs.

Sanders: The function of Fox is to divert attention away from the real issues and to get middle class people dealing with different issues. What Fox does is scare conservatives about the 2nd Amendment, which is totally unfounded.

Olbermann: Michael Wolf (bio of Murdoch) said there is no moral code guiding Fox – it’s all about how much money Murdoch could make, and that if they could turn 100% liberal and make money, Murdoch would do it in a heartbeat. Although Olby said he would never compromise his beliefs if he could make more money working for a conservative network (i.e., he can’t be bought). He says he knows this from personal experience that there are a couple of these guys at Fox News who are just salesmen, would go to the other side just for money, but says he would not himself. He said he already worked for them once, but it was just a bunch of crap. He said he has personally talked to Sean Hannity and noted Hannity said “isn’t this crazy that people think we’re enemies, but it’s just TV?” Keith says he just shrugged it off and that he’s never said anything on air he didn’t believe in. He said Beck doesn’t know what he believes in.

Sanders: The postive side of the economic disaster is people are really seeing the greed of the “ruling class” of the elite rich.

Olbermann: It is a nation about corporations and that we have to “roll back many of their liberties” (direct quote!) and reign them in.

Excuse me… “roll back many of their liberties?” ROLL BACK THEIR LIBERTIES? O.M.F.G.

A comedian–maybe Mike Berbiglia?–said on the Bob and Tom show recently:

“Every politician cheats. They all do it, they've got the power so people flock to them. Democrats cheat with other women, Republicans cheat with other men…” (Ted Haggard, Mark Foley, and Larry Craig, the foot-tapping congressman just for starters–need I go on?)

Want to mention a conservative “worst person in the world”? Gingrich infamously divorced his wife who lay dying of cancer!

Have you ever been to http://www.scandalist.info? the Bush/Cheney regime has more scandals than all Democrats combined since…since all of history! 314 scandals on that site!

Work all your life to find as many Democrats' or progressives' or liberals' scandals…we don't have as many because we're working to help others, not just enrich our own lard-laced arses with extra millions!

Conservatives are mostly about money, liberals are about people. Recent research proves it.

Conservatives are locusts and lemmings, gobbling as much as they can, and following self-serving leaders without a thought or question to pock their polished heads. (And why is it that conservatives don't conserve the environment?????)

If it weren't for liberals, conservatwits like Glenn Beck would suck the earth dry of resources while mocking efforts to curb pollution like Earth Hour (an event that signals “sanity is breaking out”).

How insipid and self-defeating can one be?? Is the man retarded? Insane? I'm asking seriously now. What kind of dolt can go on record as pro-pollution–and think people are going to sign onto this idiocy????

Beck stars in his own remake of “Idiocracy” right here: http://www.glennbeck.com/content/articles/artic

I worry that those bitter clingers will try to take a long shot which will reduce their odds.

Well, of course! All of us KON-SERB-ATIVES ain't nottin but a bunch a gun clinging… oh well, you know the drill.

Interesting though that he didn't dare have a single conservative on that show because then he couldn't have put out all that BS.

For once I'm going to have to agree with maher…glenn beck is crazy.

    Hi Ms U
I just saw this and came here to see if you had it posted. Youuuuuuuu are hawt!!!!! And so is Glenn. He has chnaged, I think, quite a bit in his persoanlaity in that he is seeing the seriousness of this JackBoot takeover by the obamkins. I've been saying for over the whole of 2008 that America is going to have to have its 'Network Moment”. And Glen is my main Cheerleader! ! !

You know I've been sending out that Network link of the 3 minutes Beale does about the TV networks, news, etc. For the whole of last year as the MSM just fauned and built up the Barry.

Here's the link for anyone wanting to use it and pass it alng–it is so damn prophetic from way back in 1970–Its 3 minutes AND has the words subtiled. As you read them you will be balled over:

I've got three words for Maher and all the celebtards who show up and give their opinions on business and politics on Real Time every week. The Celebrity Apprentice.

This week's episode was the first and Last that I've ever seen, or that I'll ever Need to see. I don't “do” reality TV. What struck me though, is that Most of those morons can barely manage to put even a semi-successful business together when given the task to.

So my question is, how is it that they've got All the answers relative to running our entire country successfully when asked to? Just curious, Barack.

  • http://timscomedyworld.blogspot.com/ Tim McShane

Yes–roll back the corporation's liberties. Have you ever seen “The Corporation”? Check out http://www.corporation.com It reveals how a corporation acts like a sociopath–often behaves in ways we imprison people for.

They've done far too much to wreck our economy. So, what's the solution(s)? Maybe government intervention. Certainly we won't get help from the corporations! And none from any conservative–from whom I've heard ZERO solutions. Just sitting back and hoping for Apocalypse so they can blame President Chocolate Jesus when he turns out to be merely one much-smarter than average man.

I challenge any conservative: offer a viable recovery plan. You cannot–because you rely on the corporations (is that becoming an expletive???) for everything–those who failed us so titanically!

Buzzzz! Your turn's over. Democrats and progressives, spin the wheel!

Have you heard of “economic democracy”? Of course not. Most conservatives neither think nor do research. It's a new system that can save us from Robber Baron-style capitalism that has ripped our economic system apart through Bush/Cheney deregulation. Check out David Schweickart's new book, “After Capitalism.”

Of course, the richest never suffer or feel any pain. They leave that for the just over 1 billion newly “chronic poor”. But why would any greedy conservative do anything to understand or help them??? They don't help you!

Conservative = challenged. Case in point: Glenn Beck.

See “Is Glenn Beck crying “OxyMoron”?” at http://timscomedyworld.blogspot.com/2009/04/is-

It's ridiculous for this man to cite “moderation” as a virtue on his 912 Project. Crying for “his country” like it was his dog hit by a car!

Does this man give a crap about real people? Who does he “feel” for in our country? He doesn't say.

How much does he contribute to stop homelessness, domestic abuse, racism, poverty or any other social ill caused by inequality and unequal access to wealth and resources? How much do you?

This isn't comedy gold–it's a comedy platinum taco, wrapped in a diamond pancake, and lovingly embraced by an iridium pizza! Glenn Beck, golden geese turds are flying out of your eyes.

As Tony Soprano would say about anything on his platter, “Keep it comin'!” I'll keep dishing it on my blog.

The corporation is not a person. It is an entity built entirely for the purpose of making more money than yesterday, or last week, or last month, or last year. Think about this now. It's sole purpose is to make (no just money but) MORE money than we already have. That is the definition of greed, especially in the context of a united society of people like the United States. i.e. there is no level of satisfaction or comfortably that the corporation can reach and say, “Ok, we've made our mark in this world, lets stay here and live based upon this set amount.

No, it's always… “we need more, and more, and more, and even more.” i.e. no matter how much money the corporation makes for itself, it's never enough to satisfy the owners or the investors or the leadership. We always need more – the definition again of GREED. Because in a society as ours this mentality breeds the inevitable outcome of the Rich and the Poor. No middle ground or “middle-class” can possibly continue to exist. There is only so much money in a given system. Therefore, if the powerful few cannot be sufficed and continue to reach for more money, then that obviously means that the less powerful, the poor, the destitute and the powerless will become even more poor, more destitute and more impotent to change anything.

Yes roll in the corperations not the people. What you and other Cons fail to see is that if the corps. take over they will limit our freedom just as much as those liberels you wory so much about. Cons think that keeping corps from running over us is bad. You really bought their lie about the trickle(main word trick)down. Their goal is to make money and anything that gets in the way of that has to be removed. They take your love of freedom and turn it on you by telling you that if their freedom get eroded then yours does too. But if Jefferson were alive he would be against them just as much as you should be. Love this country by all means but don't let either side right or left take from us the right to live as we please do as we please. If it means health care for everybody or the right cut down a tree on my land regardless of the impact on has on my patch. I just think there is a middle ground that the Glenn Becks of the world hope you don't see. Because it is true some where out there is some person listening to his talk not weighting it carefully like you but taking it literally. Beleiving that he or she doesn't do something to save the nation….
Well you get the drift. No I realize Murdoch of all people is trying to win the next election but he's appealing to the wrong set of republicans with this Glenn Beck Obama concentration camp crap.
I'll tell you what if Obama does start up camps I'll be the first to start hiding cons in my attic for the underground railrode.

Glenn Beck is further proof that evil continues to fester and thrive in America, and this blog is proof that there are still stupid people willing to believe in him and his crap.
