Gary Sinise Promotes ‘Brothers At War’ on The View – and Gets Disrespected (VIDEO)

I have been telling myself I was NOT going to post this video because the stupid cows on The View (except Elisabeth) disrespected Gary Sinise so bad that I didn’t think they deserved to be seen. He was on the show to promote the documentary he’s supporting, “Brothers At War.”

Then a good friend (you know who you are, Mr. Man) convinced me to post it for just that reason – to show exactly how disgusting these pigs are. Particularly notice at the end when the segment fades out, Elisabeth is the ONLY one who shakes his hand or even otherwise recognizes Gary (and they do it for every other celebutard that comes on their show). In fact, Joy looks like she’s sucking on a lemon, as she, Whoopi & Sherri all sit there with their arms either crossed over their chests or clasped in their laps. How disgustingly disrespectful. The sea cow, Behar, tries to make it brother-vs-brother over the their views on the Iraq war. STFU, Joy. Can’t you just stop for one freakin’ second and be thankful to Gary for supporting our troops?

But for me, the best reason to show this video is to highlight not only Gary Sinise’s patriotism, but also his never-ending support for our troops, and his backing of this fabulous documentary that I cannot wait to see. In fact, I’m trying to get it brought to the Atlanta area.

Having said all that, regardless of your political stripe, please support and recognize Gary Sinise for what a tremendous human being this man is.

Not as bad as I thought. It looks like the pigs were shamed into keeping their snouts shut.

I never watch The View; too one-sided, but I didn't think they were so bad. Although they could have wished Gary 'happy birthday' also. Their problem, not his.
  • Donna, watch carefully as Elisabeth announces Gary's highly coveted civilians' medal award honor, bestowed upon him by President Bush. The audience claps, but the panel sits with hands clasped. Worthless hens. If this would have been Olbermann being awarded the Obama award for excellence in journalism, the View witches would have given him a standing O, but these women can't separate their hatred for Bush and the war in Iraq long enough to honor and recognize a true American hero.

Ms. - You're being too tough on the sea cows. I thought they did just fine, and I can't stand that show.

With Behar, what I see in their faces is a curiosity about this film, almost a morbid curiosity, since it promises a glimpse of a war that she is fascinated and confused by.

Behar's question is telling - she wonders "what happened" during filming to make a man who believes "it's all falling apart over there" come home with a real appreciation for his brothers and their "brothers" still fighting in Iraq.

That sour face is the dour look of suspicion that her closely held and endless cackling against the war is empty, lacking any real experience or understanding, just a social norm for her environment, something to make the audience clap (because they want to fit in too.)

I bet she watches the movie, is confused by it, but maybe learns something from it.

Or she can play it safe and cling to one or two sound bites or images in there that she finds "disturbing" as vindication of her position - so she can ignore the rest of the entirety which challenges her to reconsider her years of vapid indignation.

Good on Gary Sinise for promoting this film. I'd like to see it myself.
