Obama Commemorative Coin Rip-Off (VIDEO)

by MsUnderestimated — Categories: Are You Kidding Me?, Crime, Just Plain Wrong, Obama, Video10 Comments

They thought they were buying a piece of history but many customers now say they were ripped off. But for the folks who bough into this crap (the plates, coins, etc.), you brought this on yourself. I say this coin will represent the entire Obama presidency – a SHAM!

Get ready, folks. This is what we’re in for for the next eight years. We’re going to shell out money for things that aren’t what we were told they would be, and there will be no recourse for the screwing we will take or the money we’ll lose. And if we complain about it? We’ll be told that we’re being too partisan, and then we’ll be called RAAAAACCCIIISSSTTTS!

They bought 0's snake oil, so what's the complain about 0's fake coins? In fact, I think they are very representative of the whole 0's phenomenon.

lol, as fake as the president himself

I got a real Obama and still searching the fine print for a way to undo the deal. This true believer lost a few hundred while saddling the rest of us with the for-real loser. Me and my peeps are heading toward losing hundreds of billions on the real thing.

    Yep, racist

I'm no metallurgist, but when I first saw these coins I wondered how they could be in photographic color. I've never seen a commemorative coin that did not look metallic.

    Heee heeeee heee!!! Hooooo!

I've linked to this… what a perfect metaphor for Nov 4, eh?

i saw the ads when they hit the TV and the magazines and the Sunday paper inserts.
I knew it was cheap trash “collectible” nonsense that would NEVER reach any value near
what they were selling for, and I am also an adult that knows there is always added sting with
“shipping and handling charges.” They actually seemed to reveal it was “enhanced” (maybe altered is a better word) actual US coinage. So, it was, just like the related candidacy, a lot of hype and enthusiasm, relabeling and repackaging of old existing (CLINTON ERA) Merchandise… What a terrific metaphor. Seems to good to be true, seems a bit glossy and plastic… seems expensive, but hey, if they sell it on TV/ the internet it HAS to be good, right?

you get what you (over) paid for. And now we see the $800 BILLION remedy stew prepared in a rush in the Democratic soup kitchen. (how's THAT for a metaphor?)
