Listen as William Slemaker tells the story of his step-daughter, Yvette Martinez, who was reportedly stopped by a municipal police officer in Mexico after leaving a concert, then given to a local drug lord as a gift. She’s been missing since 2004, and Glenn is proud to let Slemaker know he’s finally with a network (Fox News) that has their priorities straight. He promises Slemaker the cavalry has arrived, and Beck’s going to use the full resources he now has.

For all of you out there who are going to say Glenn’s crying is fake, you just go on thinking that. And even if it is fake, this subject is a very serious matter and needs more attention than it has been getting. But Glenn has a real connection with Slemaker, and you would know that if you’ve watched any of his previous shows on this subject matter.

Americans who dismiss Mexico as an ominous looming threat do so at their own peril. We need the fence, and we need it yesterday.
