Joy Behar: Rush Wants Obama to Fail (VIDEO)

Today on The View, Joy Behar took the liberal bait, and decried Rush Limbaugh for wanting Obama to fail. Joy, if this satire/nuance is lost on you, you are a miserable stand-up comic. You obviously don’t see sarcasm when you see/hear it (or hear ABOUT it – I don’t believe for one minute that you actually listen to Rush). Oh, and she also dings Dick Morris as being “negative, negative, negative!” Elisabeth calls her on her negativity meter in the last presidency! HA!

Someone, please, if you know Joy Behar personally, please send her a link from Rush’s website with a transcript of his comments, or the actual audio. Rush (like most of us) doesn’t want Obama’s POLICIES to succeed! Rush never said he wants this country to fail – none of us do – but he just doesn’t want to see socialism and communism succeed. It’s a shared fear in many sectors across this country. But then I don’t expect lunatics like Joy Behar to “get it.”

Joy, it’s kind of like how you hate George Bush, but I’m sure you don’t hate this country. Wait…on second thought…do you? Do you hate this country, Joy? Are you like many others who, only now that your man is president, are proud of your country? You stupid hypocrite. It’s the same country, just a different person leading it. And not in a good direction, I might add.

Paint me in the same category as Rush – I hope Obama’s policies fail epically!

For years now, Lefties have said that they “support the troops, but don't support the mission”. Which is, of course, total nonsense.

Now, they don't understand the nuance of saying “I support America, but not the Administration's policies”.

I wish I had a dollar for every example of leftist hypocrisy… I'd be taxed to death by Obama!

    • Pill poppin' el Rushbo

Hasn't the right been labeling anyone who “supported America but not this administration's policies” un-American (or much, much worse) for the last 8 years? Jesus you people have short memories. Here's the bed you've made for yourselves, enjoy lying in it.

      • http://gayconservative.org/ Steve

That's nonsense. If anyone laid the groundwork for uncivilized behavior in this country when it came to political discourse, it has been the left. As Ann Coulter pointed out on Dr. Phil, Jimmy Carter created chaos and destruction for 4 years to our economy and national security that makes today feel like a cake-walk, and Reagan still managed to say nice things about Carter in his address and Carter was not booed by Republicans in the audience. So, if a few question a liberal's patriotism because they're calling the standing President a terrorist, a liar, and a murderer, try coming up with nicer monikers first or perhaps more acerbic ways of describing your dissent.

        • Pill poppin' el Rushbo

Again, the selectiveness and brevity of your memory is astounding.

Who booed the President-elect at McCain's concession speech? (note: McCain was _not_ booed at Obama's election night address.)

Who set the tenor of the campaign discourse by letting audience members refer to the opposing candidate as “terrorist”, and shouting “kill him”?

          Pot, meet kettle.

          • Steve

There is no selectiveness to my memory. God – when a group of McCain supporters are in one room together and express sadness or anger, that is different. Was the inauguration of Ronald Reagan solely a Republican event? Was Obama's inauguration solely a liberal event? On election night, why would a liberal show up to the McCain party or vice-versa.

Nobody shouted “kill him” in a clear context – yet again, here we are at a Republican gathering, even booing then would have been acceptable.

Every attack on college campuses are by liberals, every nutty protest on stage is by liberals, Al Sharton held his own inauguration when Bush was inaugurated the second time and liberals always showed up both to Reagan's and Bush's inaugurations to be rude. So yes, it is only on one side where people like yourself cannot stomach hearing the opposing viewpoint and it pisses you off when they start to make sense.

Look at Coulter's latest Dr. Phil appearance where Alan Colmes and McClellen were on….Ann was not interuppted once and she got to speak in full sentences without having Joy Behar or Whoppi screaming before she was finished. The show actually let conservatives on as well as liberals.

What you're used to are programs like The View that screen their audience members before letting them in so that every liberals position is applauded. What you're used to is Obama getting a full pass by the media. Now the Dr. Phil interview has been published on youtube, liberals are complaining that Dr. Phil should have “moderated” it. There was nothing to moderate! To liberals, moderation means “scream every time they start to make a good point.”

As is proved by this video. Obama is so used to the rest of the media sucking up to him and not asking questions or challenging his positions. The one that has the power – Rush Limbaugh – is the one he has the problem with. This not only unveils the selection in what should be free, it also unveils his lack of leadership abilities. Can you imagine GW Bush addressing Air America ever? LOL.

Finally your “pill poppin' el Rushbo” is precisely the point. For about a year, the man developed an addiciton to prescription pain-killers. It was reported years ago. The rest of those 20-30 years, he's remained a pioneer in the talk radio business and remains the only one a standing President has ever addressed, and here you are today STILL talking about him as a “pill popper.” See what I mean?

If I developed a name for every Democrat who took drugs, slept with prostitutes, or stole money, it'd be an endless name! But Steve suits me just fine.

        • doc shoppin' el Rushbo

hilarious that you would accuse the left of being the font of uncivilized discourse and mention Coulter in the same sentence.

  • Paying attention

So I guess Rish and all the other folks who believe him would rather have fascism prevail! Read the book “American Fascists: The Christian Right and the War on America.”

I personally cannot stomach Elisabeth anymore. She was very rude to Ann Coulter by trying to suck up to her liberal co-hosts.

I am as equally as sick of “Republicans” who are going to allow liberals to dictate which Republicans are good ones and bad ones, even the ones that show up pretending to be Republicans just to denounce people like Rush and Ann.
