From my favorite political cartoonist, Michael Ramirez, comes this prescient entry for what’s going on in the upcoming days, weeks, months and years.

I’m pissed by AT LEAST these two things… 1) That Obama seemed to prefer a dinner with Michelle than give the sitting President, George W. Bush, the common courtesy and respect to watch him give his final farewell address to the nation (especially after all the grace and courtesy Bush and his team have shown Obama); and 2) That Barack couldn’t help but talk out of both sides of his mouth when speaking of President Bush:
“I mean, I think personally he is a good man who loves his family and loves his country. And I think he made the best decisions that he could at times under some very difficult circumstances.”
…“Over the last several years, we have made a series of bad choices and we are now going to be inheriting the consequences of a lot of those bad choices,†the president-elect said.
Does anybody remember (and I WANT you to comment here) at any time when President Bush personally denigrated Bill Clinton in such a fashion when he first came into office (or just before)? Nah, didn’t think you could.
Stay classy, Obama. Stay classy. /sarc
