Windows machines are highly susceptible to viruses because of modifiable DLL’s (registry) <~ that is where you find all those viruses. Mac OS doesn't have that. Mac OS also makes it impossible for something to be installed on your system without your knowledge. Sandboxing is a big reason why people don't write viruses for Macs. It makes it pointless. So before you go spouting anti MAC OS comments l2computer.

Ah the irony. The only way Macs can win is by outnumbering PC's. They don't outnumber them because a) they cost too much and b) there isn't enough Mac platform software. Secondly, the reason there aren't viruses attacking Macs is because there aren't enough of them. If they came close to the numbers of pc's, people would start writing viruses for them.
