Okay, this is just out there. Beck thinks he’s losing his mind because he’s agreeing with Dennis Kucinich, but give Dennis a few seconds, and you get reeled right back to reality! Wow.
I love the question “did you ever work for a poor person?” and Kucinich said he has – the people of his district. Just wait for Beck’s bitchslap response.
Former CIA operative Mike Baker, and former member of the Homeland Security Analytic Red-Cell ProgramBrad Thor were on Glenn Beck’s show today to talk about the recent threats coming from groups of Yemeni-born citizens living in Minneapolis, Minnesota, as well as the continuing threat from Mexico, just south of our border. Catherine Herridge filled the panel in on the recent threats by the Yemeni nationals, and Baker and Thor brought their counter-terrorism expertise to the table as well.
Folks, we better wake up and start paying attention to things like this, because if we don’t, we are doomed to have another 9/11 happen, and it will be our own fault for allowing ourselves to become so complacent and far-removed from that event. And I’m not so sure if we will ever be able to recover from what they might bring next; regardless or where the attack comes from.
Americans continue to pay more attention to Entertainment Tonight or American Idol than we do the more important things, and we do so at our own peril. And the terrorists know this, and believe you me, they are right now plotting and planning, they know our weaknesses, and they are just waiting for their best opportunity to exploit them. Thank you Hollywood and the leftists, and the jihadi-apologist mainstream media – quite a piece of work you all weave on a daily basis.
I don’t know who this hack is, and his initial attempt to ingratiate himself with the military really fell on mostly deaf ears to the Hollywood audience last night at the SAG Awards. Not such a surprise, but it’s a demonstrative example of just who these dolts really care about. And do you really think our military men and women are watching this drivel overseas at their bases? Puhlease!
Then this putz goes through the list of “guilds” of which is a member or admires, and finishes his little speech of with “we look forward to the day where all workers have the free choice to join a union.”
Yeah, THAT went over like a lead balloon, too, in the audience (now that part did surprise me – but only a little). It got about as much applause as his empty thanks to the troops. Does anybody really have any use for these fools?
Why, after all, it’s a fancy tourist destination! So, it wouldn’t be appropriate for the terrorist detainees to be housed there at Alcatraz. Really? You don’t say!
So tell us, Ms. Pelosi, where do you propose we put these jihadis? If you don’t speak up, we’ll just summarily find a spot and you’ll just have to deal with it. That is, if the Chosen One loses all ability to grasp the gravity of the situation, understands common sense, yet follows through with his promise to close Club Gitmo anyway, the choices will be few.
I don’t want them in MY backyard, and apparently neither does the aging, hollow-eyed hippy from Haight-Asbury, Nancy Pelosi. What a hypocrite.
Huge h/t to Drudge for this one. Someone asked earlier if I had the video, and I didn’t think I did. That is, until I checked the DVR. I forgot last night that I set it to record all the Sunday morning talk shows today, and lo and behold, Nanny Pelosi’s appearance on “This Week with George Stephanopoulos” was one of them.
STEPHANOPOULOS: Hundreds of millions of dollars to expand family planning services. How is that stimulus?
PELOSI: Well, the family planning services reduce cost. They reduce cost. The states are in terrible fiscal budget crises now and part of what we do for children’s health, education and some of those elements are to help the states meet their financial needs. One of those – one of the initiatives you mentioned, the contraception, will reduce costs to the states and to the federal government.
STEPHANOPOULOS: So no apologies for that?
PELOSI: No apologies. No. we have to deal with the consequences of the downturn in our economy.
