2008 Weblog Awards Voting Almost Over!

January 12, 2009 From Management View Comments

***UPDATE***

Okay, guys… voting ends for us tomorrow, so I’m putting this post back up at the top! PLEASE do take a few moments and vote for me in the Best Video Blog category. Simply click here, and you’ll be taken directly to the relevant poll. I’m obviously not going to get 1st place, but 2nd place is fantastic for me; especially since this is my first-ever nomination! And again, thanks a MILLION for all those who have voted for me so far. My readers are the BEST! All my heart. ~ Ms.U

…………………………………..

Okay, okay, so this is a shameless self-promotion, but I gotta do it. Today the 2008 Weblog Awards voting begins and I’m a finalist for the Best Video Blog! I’m so excited! I’m asking all my friends and readers to please go and vote for my site here. From the site:

Voting for The 2008 Weblog Awards is now open! The Weblog Awards are the world’s largest blog competition, with nearly 2 million votes cast since its inception in 2003. This year we expect somewhere between 500,000 and 1,000,000 votes over the next seven days.

This year there are nearly 500 finalists in 48 categories as well as an improved voting screen.

The 2008 Weblog Awards

Readers can vote once a day in each category. We use this system to give sites with smaller readership a better chance to compete with larger sites. This voting system consistently produces competitive races and exciting finishes. It rewards motivated readership as well as overall traffic, and has lead to several dramatic finishes over the years.

As always at The Weblog Awards, the voting is real-time and totals are instantly available.

Polls close January 13, 2009.

This would mean the world to me, so I’m again asking for your vote. As noted above, you can vote once a day, and the link to the Best Video category can be found here.

Thank you all for your loyal readership, and I hope everyone is having a Happy New Year!
