The aforementioned are some of the brightest and best minds on Islamic terror that we have ever seen. I couldn’t have imagined a better panel to discuss these issues than these folks. The unfortunate thing for humanity is that they have permanent job security; and for that, I am fearful. I love them all, but I wish we didn’t need their expertise. Having said that, I’m thankful they are among us.
The following are three videos from the H&C show tonight, with all experts weighing in.
This has been called India’s 9/11. And so it seems. All we can wonder is when is our next 9/11?
This horrible tragedy in Mumbai, India continues today, and they aren’t sure if there is one lone terrorist left, but the gunfire and explosions are still going off. The Taj Mahal Hotel is a structure made of a lot of wood, and the fires that are burning are consuming that quickly. This old beautiful heritage hotel will be forever damaged, and we still don’t have any answers as to when this crisis will end.
Okay, now this is just getting ridiculous – or, should I say, MORE ridiculous.
According to an AP article, an Iowa cafe named “Baby Boomers” that makes a chocolate chunk cookie, is getting overwhelmed for orders for their “Obama” cookie:
Ever since word spread about the president-elect and his family’s fondness for Baby Boomers’ chocolate chunk cookies, the small downtown restaurant can’t bake them fast enough.
“Two months ago I was giving these cookies away,” said co-owner Rodney Maxfield. “Now, it’s like ‘I need two dozen cookies. I need four-dozen cookies.’”
The Obamas became frequent visitors to the cafe last summer when the Illinois senator devoted much of his time to Iowa, where the state’s precinct caucuses kick off the presidential nominating process. Obama’s main office was next door to Boomers, and his staff made the cafe a second home.
But wait…there’s more:
Suddenly, sales of 400 cookies in a good week soared to more than 1,000 a week, with requests coming from as far away as Mexico. Alas, the price is going up, from 50 cents to 75 cents a cookie to make up for the time it takes to make more each day.
“I think everybody just … thought, ‘Oh, great cookie, great president—the world is a happy place. Barack’s going to fix all the problems and if I have a bite of this cookie it’s going to make me feel good,’” Maxfield said.
Are you seriously kidding me? Somebody please slap this country and wake it up. This is seriously so wrong in so many ways.
For all of you who voted for The Chosen One, I pray that you are beginning to question your vote for “hope” and “change.” The events in Mumbai, India are clear evidence that what we need is significantly more than “hope” and “change.” We need a steady, knowledgeable hand in the White House right now; not an unknown, unproven, untested, untrustworthy demi-God.
Just think about this: 60% of the people said they trusted John McCain more on national security issues, but just as many trusted Obama more on the economy. Well, what difference does a good economy make when you’re being attacked by terrorist nations and jihadist groups? It makes no difference at all. God help us all (and I mean the real God).
Today, multiple simultaneous coordinated attacks by terrorists hit Mumbai (formerly Bombay) India, targeting the financial center and luxury hotels. Targets were Britons and Americans, or others with western passports. As of this reporting, several Western hostages are believed to be held as hostages in the hotels Taj Mahal, Trident and the Oberoi. Up to 90 are believed to be dead at this point, and hundreds injured. At the latest reporting, a Mujahedeen terror group is claiming responsibility.
“India Times” reports over 80 dead, 900+ injured, with the head of Mumbai’s anti-terrorism killed. Official reports put the death toll at 78 with 200 injured. The BBC website has a map of the affected area and reports that “Commandos have surrounded two hotels, the Taj Mahal and the Oberoi, where gunmen are reported to be holding dozens of hostages, including foreigners.” “India Times” reports 7 foreigners are among 15 hostages at the Taj Mahal Hotel and that the Army has entered the Oberoi Hotel. India Times also reports that “An unknown outfit, Deccan Mujahideen, has sent an email to news organizations claiming that it carried out the Mumbai attacks.” Streaming live coverage video is available at the CNN IBN Live site. CNN IBN also reports 9 terrorists taken into custody across Mumbai, but no official confirmation yet.)
The Indian Army are engaging the militants with AK47s, etc. This video includes reports from New Delhi TV.
