I have been going through some of my videos from the night of the election, and I came across this frame. I remember having the same feeling as I watched her then as I do now; heartbroken. This was video of her as McCain was giving his concession speech. I saw the sadness in her face, and her lip curled a bit as she tried to keep a smile on. But it obviously hurt her that they did not win. You can see it in her eyes as the corners turn downward. And I think that her heartache was the same as mine; a heartache for this country and for what is in store for us under the new president.

I may be wrong, but this picture of her conveys my feelings exactly. Sarah, we all love you, and we know we haven’t seen the last of you. Please come back and help us rebuild the Republican party to be the way we know (and you know) it should be – standing up for our principles, no compromise, and not betraying our conservative ideals.
