Claire McCaskill Plays Dirty…REALLY Dirty

According to Ben Smith of the Politico, McCaskill is downright nasty, and not the sexy kind. In his latest blog post, Ben Smith explains:

I mentioned a few days ago that Claire McCaskill’s mild affect masks a bit of a killer, and perhaps the Obama campaign’s deftest surrogate on the attack.

But I was still kind of amused by her brief interaction with Mitt Romney in the press file just now.

McCaskill was stepping out of her chair at the end of an MSNBC interview, and Romney was up next. She and a staffer unplugged her various wires, and she handed Romney the earpiece the guests use to hear the host.

“I spit on this before I put it in,” she said to Romney, with a sweet smile.

Um, if I’m not mistaken, deliberate transference of bodily fluids is a crime. Just absolute yuck, regardless of the party. Is Arianna your sister? Disgusting.

Hey, Claire… come to Atlanta and I’ll kick your ass for that! Dumbass. What a whiney liberal douchebag.

The View Shuts Elisabeth Down Again (VIDEO)

Well, this is day 2 of shutting Elisabeth down on trying to clarify that Obama’s associations are important, and again, the rest of the panel shut her down again (or tried to). They seem completely outraged that she’s bringing this up, but why shouldn’t they? They want Obama to win.

Justin McCarthy at Newbusters has the transcript and full story, and here’s a part of that:

HASSELBECK: My point is, it’s not just Reverend Wright.

BEHAR: Where is my cake?

HASSELBECK: It’s not just Tony Rezko, a criminal. It’s not just William Ayers, a U.S. terrorist. It’s that time and time again Barack Obama has said “oh, I didn’t realize that William Ayers was a terrorist.”

GOLDBERG: That’s baloney because what is- what do we care about?

HASSELBECK: Care or poor judgment.

SHEPHERD: But can we talk about judgment?

GOLDBERG: Poor judgment? Okay.

SHEPHERD: Can we talk about poor judgment? What about the woman that McCain, no, excuse me. What about the woman that McCain left, the woman that McCain left that didn’t even want him to know she had been in a horrible, horrible accident. And he came back, met another woman named Cindy McCain, left the woman that- can we talk about that? Can we talk about that?

[applause]

HASSELBECK: Is this personal?

SHEPHERD: No, but-

HASSELBECK: Wait a minute. When did this become personal? Wow!

SHEPHERD: No, I’m saying Elisabeth-

HASSELBECK: It’s personal now.

SHEPHERD: No, it’s not personal. It’s passion.

HASSELBECK: You’re making it personal right now Sherri.

SHEPHERD: No, I’m not making it personal.

HASSELBECK: Relax, relax, relax.

SHEPHERD: So when you talk about character, when you talk about character, when you talk about character-

BEHAR: Obama’s winning. Relax.

SHEPHERD: -when you talk about Obama-

BEHAR: He’s winning.

SHEPHERD: McCain still has some stuff too and he’s got some stuff in his past too. We can’t just keep looking at Barack.

HASSELBECK: So let’s just match them up.

WALTERS: Can I just say something please? Can we not, on this program, and I was talking about yesterday, can we not sling, stop slinging mud around? We are intelligent women. There are enormous issues in this campaign. The country is terrified. The world is terrified and worried about the economy. And these things I think are so irrelevant. Let us try to address their program for the future [applause] and not throw garbage around.

HASSELBECK: Both are important though. Both are important. And if we want to talk economy, Barack- people want to put it on the Republicans and this administration. It was the Democrats who were pushing these sub prime loans, Barney Frank, Christopher Dodd, think about it.

GOLDBERG: Let’s, let’s do this. Let’s break and come back.

HASSELBECK: You don’t want to hear the other side.

BEHAR: Elisabeth you’re listening to Sean Hannity too much.

Yeah.. Elisabeth is listening to Sean Hannity too much. Well, Joyless, you’re listening to Keith Olberdouche too much.

Geez, when will Elisabeth finally leave that crazy ward and go to Fox News, where she will have a larger audience?

****UPDATE/REQUEST****

Due to the high volume of downloads on my server for the .wmv video, I’d like to request you please download it in bit torrent format here: http://www.mininova.org/tor/1885620. Reader blueguitarbob was kind enough to upload it there, and it should download for you very quickly.

This situation has gone extremely viral, and I wasn’t even going to post it, but since there’s been so much interest in it, here I am. This all centers around an SNL skit about the huge bailout and how we got there, and apparently SNL has seen fit to pull it from their own site, as well as Hulu, and YouTube videos are disappearing faster than “Yes We Can” buttons at an Obama rally. It’s been uploaded to LiveLeak, but that could also disappear, too. I hate most of the video-sharing sites, especially YouTube. I like my own stuff culled from my TV and PC.

The web is all abuzz about this, so check Pat Dollard, Hot Air, and Michelle Malkin, who has a full transcript with screenshots as well as the controversy speculation about why this segment.

I will add screenshots later this afternoon when I have time (changed my mind – other sites have plenty, especially Malkin’s post), but for now, here’s what everyone’s been clamoring for. This is a downloadable .wmv link for the SNL Bailout skit in its entirety.
