Tonight I happened to be flipping through channels when I stopped at MS-NBC’s Olberdouche Countdown and I heard the words “Gwen Ifill” and “racist.” So I stopped, rewound, and yep! There it was. So, I took one for the team tonight, pausing long enough (testing my gag reflex) to grab this video. At the beginning, he’s quoting or talking about something NRO’s Rich Lowry allegedly said about PBS Host Gwen Ifill’s upcoming book, “Breakthrough: Politics and Race in the Age of Obama.” A lot of us think it’s wrong for Gwen Ifill to continue on as the VP Debate host; especially since she reportedly says she has not yet written the chapter on Obama. So I’d say she’s definitely got a “dog in this hunt.” Wouldn’t you?
When will this stuff ever end? And when will the media start reporting on this? Good grief!
Approximately 60,000 registration cards with personal info and SS numbers, and they were in the hands of these thieves until they got them back to ACORN headquarters? By the way…notice some of the crimes these folks committed? Fraud, identity theft, etc. DAMN, the democrats are dumb. Even if you do want to register, you don’t give a complete stranger your ID info in a freakin’ parking lot somewhere!
This is partly why the dems’ version of the bailout bill failed. A huge chunk of the money was going to go to groups like this, ACORN, and others. Sheesh! AMERICA, WAKE UP!

Well, the gals on The View got into it over Sarah Palin (again), and all the others ganged up on Elisabeth for always standing up for Sarah. Joy Blowhard & Barabara Walters were bemoaning the fact that Sarah has to have a whole bunch of advisers surrounding her, prepping her for the debate tomorrow night. Excuse me, but did they not know that Obama has a team of 300 advisers on Foreign Affairs alone?!?!?
And when Joy said Sarah was dumb, the whole table dropped their jaws.
What a bunch of dolts these women are, and Barabara pretends like she’s “middle of the road” when it comes to politics – B.S.! Oh, and Joy Blowhard says Sarah shouldn’t have joked about having heard Biden’s speeches since the 2nd grade, seeing as how her running mate is old as “methusela.” Whoopi said that Sarah made a mistake. Oh, really? That’s funny considering Joy’s main punch line against McCain is that he’s old. I guess only professional comics can say stuff like that. Is Sarah not allowed to have a sense of humor? Oh, yeah, I forgot… she’s a conservative.
Not only did Joy call Sarah dumb, she re-worded it by saying she isn’t politically astute, then Whoopi said Sarah doesn’t know anything, and even said not one single person running right now that is qualified to be the President. Don’t miss the real humor when Whoopi says John McCain is a friend of hers. Yeah right.
Yesterday on the View, Bill Maher was on to promote his new movie, Religulous, but it became very quickly apparent that he was there for more than just that. Joy asked him if he wanted to “start,” and the conversation (read = attack) immediately started in on religion with Sherry and Elisabeth about Christianity and their beliefs. He called religion an “opinion,” and even said that the reason America is extremely religious is because we are “young and dumb” as a nation.
MAHER: Let me tell you, this Repu- this Republican party is so cynical, this is the third time in 20 years, Bush, Quayle, and now Palin, they have nominated a complete bimbo, which is a man or a woman.
MAHER: They have bimbos, like Dan Quayle I remember in the debate, that asked him something like, I forget what the issue was, but it was like “what would you do if it was nuclear” or something catastrophic. And he of course, started to crap himself and had that look in his eye. And he went “well, first I would say a prayer.” Yeah, that’s right, talk to your imaginary friend while the world is full of death, because that would really effectively do something.
HASSELBECK: You said before that George Bush is a religious fanatic like Osama Bin Laden. Equating the two I think is strange. But why do you feel this way just because he believes in God or because he, he does pray?
MAHER: Well, it affects his foreign policy. He says that.
HASSELBECK: But what about John F. Kennedy do you feel the same way about him because he’s said, you know I have right here, asking his blessing and his help here on Earth, God’s work must truly be our own, FDR used similar comments, Lincoln-
MAHER: Of course, it’s, it’s a religious country, unlike every other civilized western democracy in the world, this country is still extremely religious because we’re young and dumb.
