What’s Wrong With Joe Biden? (VIDEO)
You be the judge…

On a plane from Denver to Charlotte following the Democrats’ convention, I found myself seated behind former National Chairman of the Democratic National Committee Don Fowler and Congressman John Spratt of South Carolina. Their conversation was interesting to say the least.
For example, they made fun of Sarah Palin for several minutes, Fowler calling her “Dan Quayle” on steroids and Spratt creatively describing her as “just terrible.” They both agreed that, “Other than the simple fact that she’s a female,” she has nothing to offer.
Then there was this gem of a moment from Fowler:
This is unbelievably despicable, and really requires no additional words from me. In fact, I’m afraid if I continue to type, it will only be expletives.
Partial transcript:
“The hurricane is going to hit New Orleans about the time they start. The timing is, at least it appears now, it will be there Monday. That just demonstrates God is on our side,” Fowler said, while laughing. Fowler also told Spratt that “everything’s cool.”
!$#$%#!*^#$*!J!&!$!
Folks, today now more than ever, McCain & Palin need our dollars to support the GOP ticket. I’m so jazzed I can’t even explain it. This is the best ticket we could have ever expected, and I’m asking YOU, my readers, to please sign up and give to the McCain campaign. PLEASE!

As Palin said:
“Well, it’s always, though, safer in politics, to avoid risk; to just kind of go along with the status quo. But I didn’t get into government to do the safe and easy things. A ship in harbor is safe, but that’s not why the ship is built. Politics isn’t just a game of competing interests and clashing parties. The people of America expect us to seek public office and to serve for the right reasons.”
Damn, this woman is great! Again, please click the link here to donate to the McCain-Palin ticket. It’s for our country.
Well today, John McCain surprised us all. And what a delightful surprise it was. Today John McCain introduced his V.P. pick to the world, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. What a refreshing thing to come our way in this political season. If this country ever needed change, it was not in Obama, but in Gov. Sarah Palin. I love this woman!

You can watch her fabulous introduction speech here and here.
MCCAIN/PALIN ‘08!
By the way… I just LOVED this sign seen at the rally.

That’s the best way I can describe Obama’s debutante “coming out” party tonight at Invesco Field. I’m less than impressed. Folks in the crowd were crying, I assume, because they were happy. I was crying because the douchebag made me want to hurl.
Folks, I don’t know about you, but when the Bidens joined Barack and Michelle on stage after they were introduced last Saturday, the body language of both couples was very odd to me. When Jill Biden reached out to hug Michelle, Michelle seemed very stiff, holding back and trying not to get too close. Michelle’s hand always kept the upper position to Jill’s. When Joe Biden hugged Michelle, and when Jill hugged Barack at the same time, I felt and saw a sense of awkwardness between the two couples, although Michelle & Joe’s embrace was a bit more emphatic. Barack kept his distance in the hug with Jill. Joe squeezed Michelle in a bear hug with his arms tightly wrapped around her upper body, and with her arms wrapped around his neck.

Just something creepy about the whole thing. I’d love to see Bill O’Reilly have Tonya Reiman do a body language segment on that embracing exchange. This video here is at a different angle than what I saw on TV, but you can get a general idea.
