He was so intelligent and well spoken, a real and true gentleman. I used to love it when he’d sub for Rush because he represented his views so well and treated his callers with great respect, even those who didn’t return the favor. I think every president should have a Tony Snow representing him, he was the best press secretary I ever saw. I can only imagine that He got the express elevator to the pearly gates.

A sad loss indeed and while so youthful at that. It’s a pity that during his tenure at the White House he was in such a one-sided contest of intellect with the Washington Press Corps. Might have been more stimulating for him if they put a few independent real journalists to even things up, rather than that lock-step herd of communications majors. Here’s to you, Mr. Snow.
