Chris Wallace Smackdown of Bill Moyers (VIDEO)

h/t to Noel Sheppard of Newsbusters for this beaut.

As Noel reports it:

As NewsBusters reported last Saturday, PBS’s Bill Moyers went on an absolutely disgraceful rant about Karl Rove, George W. Bush, and religion during the August 17 installment of “Bill Moyers Journal.”

Two days later, Rove was Chris Wallace’s guest on “Fox News Sunday,” and took issue with Moyers’s comments: “Mr. Moyers ought to do a little bit better research before he does another drive-by slander.”

Moyers followed this up with a letter to Wallace posted at his blog Wednesday suggesting that Wallace didn’t do his homework concerning Rove, and that Wallace shouldn’t “take his every word as gospel.”

This Sunday, Wallace fired back:

He quoted four print stories for his contention that Rove is agnostic, none of which offer any proof other than what Rove supposedly told colleagues over the years.

[...]

Well, to save on postage, Bill, here’s my response. If you want to find out about someone’s religious beliefs, a good first step might be to ask him. If you had talked to Rove as I did, you would have found out he reads a devotional every day and the biggest charitable contribution he ever made was to his church. Of course, you never called Rove. That’s reporting 101, but it would have gotten in the way of a tasty story line about a non-believer flimflamming the Christian right. I guess, Bill, reporting is easier when you don’t worry about the facts.

Bravo!

You know, Chris Wallace usually plays it down the line as far as partisanship, but when you push him in the right way, you will get the tiger.

Bill Maher ‘How’s The Morale Of The Insurgents?’ (VIDEO)

by MsUnderestimated — Categories: Al Qaeda, Bill Maher, Good News from Iraq, Video4 Comments

The new season of Real Time began tonight, and the opening piece (not the monologue crap) had to be very disappointing to him. He seemed almost heart-broken, much like Hillary’s feelings, that there might actually be good news from Iraq. NYT’s correspondent Damien Cave was on reporting live from Baghdad. Yes, he did have some not-so-good news for Bill, but no matter how much Bill tried to bait him, Damien reported honestly that things are getting better, the locals weren’t 100% against us, and that progress was being made. Yes, the political progress could be better, but hey; it’s a whole different scenario than it was under Saddam.

Bill asks him about the morale of the troops, because even though President Bush says they are “steadfastly” behind him, he has his doubts:

CAVE: You know, it’s actually kind of a mixed deal. I mean I talked to a commander the other day who said that the political debate at home is bizarro-land and something that he doesn’t connect with at all. He’s just here to do his mission. And I think that’s probably the view of most soldiers in Iraq. They’re just here to do their job and they don’t think too much beyond that. Morale, I would say, is probably surprisingly high in some units. And then in other units, there is the sense of ‘well, gosh, is this really working?’ ‘why am I here for the third time?’ But, I have to say that’s probably rare. Most of the units that I spent time with, again are just focused on trying to do the job in front of them. It’s about clearing the neighborhood that they’re in, or trying to get the guys that they know are there. But you don’t hear a whole lot of the chatter that you might hear in Washington when you’re out with the soldiers.

MAHER: But what about the morale of the insurgents? Is there any doubt among these people that we are not going to outlast them? I mean we do have debates on how long the surge will last. It seems to be a debate about a matter of months, sometimes a matter of years. Come on…these guys are gonna wait us out for as long as it takes. Isn’t that the bottom line in Iraq?

Bill, are you kidding me? Do you really dismiss the morale of our troops then feel the need to ask about the morale of the insurgents? You pitiful little bastard. Feel free to go join them any time you deem it necessary to further demoralize our troops’ morale by the Hollyweird leftards.

Watch Maher’s diatribe here.

Burning question: Why and/or would Bill Maher think a NYT’s reporter would know what an insurgent’s morale is?

Tom Tancredo Vs. Geraldo On H&C (VIDEO)

Geraldo seems to be getting the lion’s share of attention lately due to his appeasement strategy for the criminal illegal immigrants.

On Hannity & Colmes tonight, Tancredo was on to challenge Geraldo. Not quite the fight I anticipated, but it was fun to watch just the same. No matter how many times I watch segments on this discussion, those who oppose enforcement are just plain wrong. Geraldo seems to be taking all this personally, but he cannot deny statistics. It’s like saying “blacks are over-represented in the prison system.” Well, what is the answer to that? Do cops go out and just arbitrarily arrest white folks so they can even out the prison population? This is a nonsensical argument and Geraldo knows it.

You can watch the match between Tancredo & Geraldo in both parts, here & here.

The Problem With Newark (VIDEO)

by MsUnderestimated — Categories: Crime, Illegal Immigration, Liberal Bed-Wetters, VideoLeave a comment

This is a very brief video, but no surrounding story needs to be told. We all know the story of the execution style killings of the three young high school students in Newark, and that the alleged ring leader, Carranza, is a criminal illegal alien with a lengthy criminal past himself. But the cops on previous occasions, and apparently the courts, were not allowed to inquire about his legal status. Therein lies the problem. Mayor Cory Booker.

When all is said and done, any city that is in effect a sanctuary city should forfeit all federal monies forever until they drop their sanctuary policies. Illegal aliens stay in these cities because they know they can operate without fear. When this scumbag was convicted on 31 counts of raping a 4-year-old child, his dumbass should have never been given bail. And it’s no surprise today that reports say the reason there was a rush on trying to find everyone involved is that they were all planning to escape back to their home country, El Salvador, where they would definitely be safe from the U.S. Justice System. And there’s that messy little thing about them being members of M.S. 13, one of the single most dangerous gangs in the world.

I’ve never heard the phrase “not on my watch” used in a proclamation that declares you will not allow your officers to enforce the laws of this country, but Mayor Booker states it emphatically. And pathetically. And sadly. All peace officers, when they take their oath, pledge to uphold the laws of the city, county, state and our country. So how do these cities get away with that? I’ll never know.

John Gibson Vs. Illegal Activist (VIDEO)

Man, oh, man! John Gibson had Javier Rodriguez on The Big Story today to talk about the arrest and deportation of well-known criminal illegal alien, Elvira Arellano. She’s the criminal that not only came to the country illegally, but also used a false social security number to gain employment at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport! Yes, she had access to all the airplanes and every part of the airport.

Gibby, as usual, was fairly calm, then all of a sudden, activist Javier Rodriguez started to blame George Bush. He called George Bush the biggest criminal! What the heck is he talking about? Bush WANTED the Amnesty bill to pass, but yet he’s the villain here? I just don’t get it. Well yeah, I do. Everything is always George Bush’s fault.

Watch Gibby go nuclear on Javier here.
